I just installed IE9 (public release), and I'm seeing a pop-up at the bottom of the browser window that states:
"The 'Virtual Storage Mount Notification' add-on from 'EldoS Corporation' is ready for use."
Does anyone know what this is exactly?

When you click on a Favorite in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 (1607), IE only opens a blank page.
We could narrow that problem down - it apparently only occurs if Favorites are redirected to a file share and Enhanced Protected Mode ist enabled.
It works fine in IE11 on Windows 7 though using the same configuration (redirected Favorites + Enhanced Protected Mode).
Why do i have so much diffulculty downloading/upgrading and scanning my computer can't get help through troubleshooting unable to restore System or restore Files i need help real help to restore my System completly and accuratly

Hi,
I want to perform Enterprise Site Discovery on a environment where Win7 Sp1, windows 8.1, windows 10 machines are available, now I want to save all site discoveries in a single XML file or single SCCM report
I am able to collect data from a single windows 10 machine, using this blog's help
but I am unable to collect data from win 7 , windows 8.1 machine on a single xml or SCCM report
A)Moreover the Site discovery toolkit contains two group policy files in ADMX, adl format, I could not identify their usage, pliz help me how to use these files
B)We have almost 150+ machines in our infra, If we need to collect all telemetry data in from all 150 machines
How to achieve that??
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I have the following javascript that works very well in Chrome and Firefox but it fails with IE/Edge
if (xmlHttp.readyState == 4 && xmlHttp.status == 200) {
var isIE = (navigator.userAgent.indexOf("MSIE") != -1);
if (isIE === true) {
manageProfileIframe.setAttribute("src", "data\:text/html," + xmlHttp.response);
} else {
manageProfileIframe.srcdoc = xmlHttp.response;
}
Using the Network tab in F12 Dev Tools, I observe that I get good response body but the iframe that appears is empty. Like somehow the iframe would get the source before the xmlHttp.response is ready..
Any help would be much appreciated
Regards,
Alex

Hi everyone,
I have this code that works excellent with any browser but not with Edge 14 on windows 10 mobile (Lumia 950)
Code:
if (xmlHttp.readyState == 4 && xmlHttp.status == 200) {
manageProfileIframe.setAttribute("src", "data\:text/html," + xmlHttp.response);
In Edge on mobile, the Iframe shows:
==============
xmlHttp.response is very simple, has the header and a simple paragraph in the body
Thanks,
Alex

IE 7 and IE 8
You can add URL's to Trusted sites - but after accepting, when opening the list again the new site is gone !
The problem appear to be there only AFTER one of our GPO's setting these trusted sites via a .reg file, has run.
The GPO is calling a .cmd file executing the .reg file
We don't use setting trusted sites via the policy "site to zone assignment list", because this totally blocked (dimmed out) the buttons for adding trusted sites i IE.
This Microsoft KB describes the same problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307907 But we don't use IEAK.
Any ideas ?
I am having an issue adding an IP address to trusted sites for all users. I have tried using Google to change the registry for the local machine. I have also tried using gpedit under "Site to Zone Assignment List" and it also doesn't work.
I don't want to use group policy. I would like to do this with regedit.
I am using Windows Server 2008 R2.
I am having trouble with IE 11. Several websites I like will not work with it. I want to go back to IE 10 but can't seem to find a way to do that. I am running Windows 10.
Would appreciate some help.
I have two systems that are identical. When I run the following code in powershell. The Document is mshtml.HTMLDocumentClass. But when I run the same code on the other system. The Document is System.__ComObject.
Why is the Document different on the other system. When I try to do a getelementbyID. It works when the document is of type mshtml.HTMLDocumentClass. But it fails when document is of type System.__ComObject.
I have the same version of IE version 11. The same version of powershell version 3.0.

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting tohttps://www.spacex.com again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4(link for the details), which is not considered secure. which is misleading....
resolution: try using the http protocol instead eg. http://spacex.com . Use the File>Properties menu to determine which IE security zone you have mapped the domain to... if it has been mapped to the Intranet Zone (and require secure connections (https)), remove the domain from the Trusted Sites list.
