How to restore "Always ignore" selection pressed on Low IL compat mode / EPM question in IE10 on Windows 7 x64?

In a previous question I asked where the Whitelist is and how to modify it but now I have clients that seem to gotten stuck after pressing "Always ignore" and then the question to run outside EPM does not come up anymore and also the Whitelist stops working.

I need to get the "Question" back so the user can select to disable EPM on a per site basis (and to re-enable the Whitelist already set by login script).

internet explorer 9 - corrupt for user profile. Insane error

I have a windows 7 computer running internet explorer 9 running domain. If I login to the computer, with one user it doesn´t load our intranet site correctly. There is simply a blank page, and it is trying to reload and reload again and again

If I login on the same computer with a different user, it works well for the user.

I have of course tried resetting explorer several times, starting with no-add ins - but still, for this user it will not work. Also uninstalled explorer 9 and installed 10 - but still same error

I have tried to install Mozilla on the user profile, and there it also works.

I have tried to remove all installed programs in the control panel - still the same error, while if I login with a different user it works fine also when all programs are uninstalled.

How do I find this error ?. There are couple of other users who have the same problem with their machines and this problem suddenly starts. Somehow the explorer corruped but is there any way to reset this (and yes - I have tried to reset it inside explorer, but don´t know if there is any regedit hack that do that it loads all default configs as first time a user login to windows ) Or maybe it is simply the user profile, but how can I clear the corrupted settings that do this error?

hi everyone,

One of our applications uses capicom.dll to sign the data with digital certificates. In IE9 , it throws error 'Signature is Invalid' while the same data is getting signed in IE8.

I use Windows 7 64 bits and Internet Explorer 9 . Is there any workaround for this problem ?

This is critical issue for us now and need solution or workaround asap.

Thanks,

Saving responsive web page as mht file causes responsiveness to be lost.

Like the title says - when I save a responsive web page in internet explorer as a mht file - the responsiveness is gone. Behavior is the same in both IE9 and IE10. I did find a Firefox plug in that seems to work for this functionality - but I don't want to roll out Firefox to my entire office - which requires this functionality. Is there any love for saving responsive pages in IE?

IE9 wont open pages, just give a new tab thats blank

IE9 won't open a lot of pages.  It just opens a new tab that is a blank screen and a empty tab title.  The extension types all vary.  However, if I cut and paste the link in a new tab it will work.  I already tried to down grade the version to 8, but it says its unsupported by windows 7 64 bit, funny I started with 8...

IE 10 will not allow me to connect to Outlook.com. It give the following error message "

Cookies must be allowed

Your browser is currently set to block cookies. Your browser must allow cookies before you can use a Microsoft account"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled IE 10.  I have set privacy to low for testing, set tools/internet Options/privacy/advanced/accept 1st & 3rd party cookies, also tried allow session cookies.  Also reset to default settings.  But no setting seem to make a difference.  Has anyone else encountered this problem.

Hi All,

We have most of our RDS Server running IE 8.0  butWhen a user logs on to an RDS  Server which has IE 9.0 installed the favourites are gone. The favourites are deleted. I can restore the favourites folder but it's almost a 1000 users that I'll have to do this for.

Any ideas as to what causes. any fixes

Cheers,

JP

Internet Explorer UI issue

We are facing an UI alignment issue in Internet Explorer . We have a Dynamic HTML widget placed outside the form tag of page as our HTML widget is also having its form tag and we know that form tag nesting is not possible.

Everything works fine on 100% zoom of the browser but alignment of this HTML widget gets distorted as we go on zoom in/ zoom out the screen.

We are using Jquery offset function to set top and left position of the widget but its not working fine only on Internet Explorer.

Please provide any valuable suggestions/solution as soon as possible.

IE9 - shortcuts open desktop folders...

Hi,

We have sites on our intranet which open with short codes - such as 'remote' - you can open them by simply typing the phrase into the ie9 address bar.  However if I also have a folder on my desktop with the same name that gets opened in windows explorer rather than the site.

Is there a way to change this behaviour and have ie9 ignore desktop folders?

Thanks

IE10 keeps locking in Windows 8-64 bit

IE10 keeps locking when browsing different websites. Only option that works is to end task in Task Manager. Sometimes can't even do that as the whole computer locks and then I have to switch the machine off - not closing down correctly.  Any clues ?

How can I delete IE10 from Windows 8 and replace with IE9 which is much more stable ?

IE 10 does not displayas a program that can be deleted in Control Panel "Programs and Features" but you can switch it off in Windows features options. Would this allow ne to instal a downgraded version (IE9) ?

Allow plugin to run at bottom of IE window is not stopping and letting me click Allow

I have users who are connecting to an App load balancer (Juniper) on which the OS has been upgraded. When they now connect to it it should prompt them to install the new version of the plugin. What I am seeing is when they login where you normally get the Allow run at the bottom of the IE window it is just "flying" by and not stopping and letting them click on Allow. We are mostly seeing this in IE 9. Is there a security setting or something that controls this? I need that pop up to stay at the bottom so the users can click on Allow.

Thanks for any help!

SHA 1 Scripting Error

While using IE 10 we are trying to login to "cloud.curemd.com". Once the "Display scripting errors" is switched on we get the following error:

The value of the property "SHA 1" is null or undefined, not a Function object

datlogin.asp

line: 606    code: 0     Char: 4

(I could not insert the print screen for some reason)

We have no idea why this is coming up. The website usually works on other computers but on this one when the "Login" button is pressed this pops up. To get to the login page of the website all the activex components for IE have to be enabled from internet options and the pop-up blocker has to be disabled also cloud.curemd.com has to be added the trusted sites. Please help as our IT guy is clueless as to why this is happening and we have tried various things like downgrading, restoring windows etc.

Internet Explorer 10 cookies and roaming profiles (WebCache directory)

$

Hi,

I'm having a cookie problem on 2 out of 2 tested environments using Windows Server 2008 R2 (with roaming profiles) and Internet Explorer 10 (IEAK'ed) :S

For instance when I login to www.google.com with my username and password, as long as I'm using my Windows session I'm logged in towww.google.com every time I open the browser (with all iexplore.exe processes closed before). When I logoff my Windows session my (roaming) profile is beeing saved on the fileserver and the locally cached Windows profile is beeing deleted.

When I logon to Windows again (on the same computer) the roaming profile is beeing copied from the fileserver to my client (including the .txt cookies), butwww.google.com isn't logging me in automatically. The same thing happens with other cookies related stuff on websites :S

Also tried WITH and WITHOUT folder redirection for AppData/Cookies/etc, even a newly installed environment with Microsoft defaults is giving me problems.

Anybody out there having the same problem ?

Unable to login to partner website using IE9 and IE10

$

The problem is that the site requires login with a user account that exists in the external organization, and I'm attempting to login from a computer that's a member in an ActiveDirectory domain.

When accessing the link to the site (https ://livelink.someorganization.com) I get a "Windows Security" dialog box asking for username and password.

So far so good, and I have a username and password for the site.

But the Dialog Box also includes my ActiveDirectory domain, which causes the login to fail.

And I haven't been able to find out how to get around this problem because:

1 I don't know the AD domain name in the external organization

2 I don't expect they want to broadcast that information outside their organization anyway.

If I login to the site using another browser, it works smoothly.

Because the login dialog only asks for username and password, and doesn't automaticly include my AD domain.

How can I get around this problem using IE?

I've tried from 4 different PCs, running Win 8 Pro x64 or Win 7 Pro x64, with IE 9 or IE 10.

Thanks
