I am getting continuous "script error" popup (by the dozens). The pop ups identify many different URLs. How do I turn this off?

IE11 - NameCtrl Class not compatible on Sharepoint 2010
Hello,
we are about to upgrade from IE9 to IE11. While testing we found a problem when opening our sharepoint 2010 site. At the bottom we get the following message:
"This webpage want to run "NameCtrlClass" which isn't compatible with Internet Explorers enhanced security features. if you trust this site, you can disable Enhanced Protected Mode for this site and allow the control to run."
You can choose between "Run control" oder "don't run". But the result stays: The message still pops up every time.
I searched the web and realized that the NameCtrlClass is used to display the availability of a person in sharepoint. As this feature is not used we disabled the NameCtrlClass through GPO. But its not helping either :(
Ah, we are using Office 2010, and the NameCtrlClass Version is 14.0.6109.5000. So we do not have the common error, that the NameCtrlClass wasn't updated while installing Office 2013.
Any ideas how we solve this problem?

Windows 10 Edge browser loses mouse pointer every 5-10 seconds.
Edge is too painful to use for reading since I must click again within the article in order to be able to move or scroll the mouse. Not sure if this is 'by design' but it means that it's too frustrating to use. I don't have the problem with FoxFire
on the same MSN web pages.

IEAK11 package does not update correctly during installation
Hi,
Sorry, my post is long because I have tried many things already.
We are deploying IE11 on 50000+ Windows 7 SP1 laptops and desktops across the world and in multiple languages. I have made an installation package using IEAK for full deployment of the browser, branding and other custom components. We are deploying it through SCCM for most users, and by sending the install package for manual installation to some of our field employees that cannot rely very well on SCCM for various business reasons. We rely on Enterprise Mode with a site list to ensure compatibility with internal applications.
When installing, the IEAK package will connect to Microsoft in order to get its prerequisite updates. Then, it downloads some updates (language packs, hyphenation and spelling CAB files for each languages supported by the system). As seen in the logs, it also downloads an updated version of the binaries for IE11 from the MS site (the Neutral Pack), and merges it to the IE11 binaries extracted from the package. All this is default behavior of the full install package compiled by IEAK, and I believe this mechanism has been made so as soon as the installation completes, IE11 will come already updated; otherwise there might be a time gap between when IE11 is installed, and when the Windows Update detection cycle finds that new patches apply to IE11 and installs them.
However, the resulting update seems incomplete. about 2 months ago, we had a issue on x86 machines. Right after the install, before Windows Update applies the most recent patches for IE, users were complaining that Enterprise Mode was not enabled, even though all the registry values for Enterprise Mode were there. In the About box, IE11 was showing an update version of 11.0.20 (KB3058515), which was the most recent update at that time, should add the Enterprise Mode functionality. If I reinstalled the standalone KB3058515 on x86 machines (even though IE reports it's already there) with WUSA, it fixed the issue without even having to reboot. In x64 machines, the update version number was 11.0.18, and we did not have a problem.
I went into the install log, and I can see the Neutral Pack has been downloaded and installed successfully. IE11 installs, the system reboots, and I can see in the About box of IE that update versions are 11.0.18 (on x64) and 11.0.20 (on x86). When I suspend the installation using Sysinternals Process Explorer and I look into the Neutral Pack (in a temp folder in C:\Windows\Temp), I can see that all IE11 core files exist with more recent versions than what could be extracted from IE-REDIST.EXE (the IE installer in the IEAK package); the same versions that could be seen in the standalone KB3058515. All file versions returned by iediagcmd.exe are the same versions as well. So I believed that the Neutral Pack contained all files of the KB3058515, but might somehow miss some registration information. There's a lot of undocumented stuff in these packages. I overcame the issue by putting this package in a CAB file to be added to IEAK, and program its execution after IE install completes through RunOnceEx. On SCCM, it's a bit simpler, we do it using advertised task sequences.
Now, we got another issue with x64 systems. Same thing, the neutral pack has been updated to 11.0.20 (KB3058515) on x64 machines (it was 11.0.18 before), and the most recent version is 11.0.21. (I expect MS to release another one today since it's patch tuesday). After install, x64 machines no longer handle Enterprise Mode. Unlike the behavior I saw with x86 machines (they came with the "broken" KB3058515, I install standalone KB3058515 on top of it), this trick did not do. We have to install the KBs that port this version to 11.0.21.
The importance of this is that in many cases, users will install IE11 and it will not be ready to handle internal applications because Enterprise Mode is missing. Some will try to solve the problem badly (put all internal TLDs in the Compatibility View, for example), and IE would become very difficult to maintain. I know that I can disable the download functionality in IEAK, but in that case the language packs would not download automatically.
I thought about forcing the updates, but even by using WUAUCLT to force it, it takes some time for it to install, and by that time, users would not be able to use IE11 with internal apps.
I'd like to know if there is something to do with the neutral pack. Is it something that could be overriden? Maybe someone at Microsoft could look into this, it's rather odd.
I'll call the MS support soon... maybe it's a bug they can fix.

IE 11 does not open on screen?
When I start IE 11 it appears on the taskbar, but not on the screen.
Am running Windows 8.1.
How can I make it appear on the screen?

Can't open anything in Microsoft -- Outlook, MSN, etc.
Do I have some sort of "re-directing" virus. I can open anything in IE except a Microsoft location. Sometimes, Outlook will open and I can "see" my email, but the navigation buttons do not appear. I can not open folders or email
items. After a short time, I get "Page Cannot Be Displayed". Rarely, but occasionally, it will open correctly. However, that may be 1 out of 40 or 50 tries. Been this way for a couple of days. Happens on two wifi laptops
but not on my desktop. Feel like the laptops have picked up a virus. I hardly ever use the desktop and it seems to be ok. Thanks.

Saved email in folders when updating to Windows 10
I have been running MSN email for many years, with no problems using Win XP, 7, 8 and 8.1. I upgraded to Windows 10 and it did not move my saved email located in this folders (some of my folders were moved to Win 10 with only the last 30 days emails). I tried sending some of the ones I needed to keep, with product keys and other information to myself and then adding to the folders in Windows 10. I could move them to the folders, but they would disappear later. I tried this many time with the same emails and others. Just would not work. All other functions for the MSN email work. Question is, why did it not move my saved email to the folder? Why when I place the email in the folders, they disappear later? Only had two other problem with Windows 10 and were resolved by reinstalling the programs. If this problem cannot be resolved, I will go back to Win 8.1, as this email program is one of my most used items on my PCs. Does anyone know how or why?

How can I apply "Enterprise Mode Site List" and "Automatically open in IE11" options on MS Edge?
Couldn't find the forum for MS Edge from the forum categories... so I posted mine here on IE 9~11.
1. I tried to follow the guide on the link below to apply Enterprise Mode Site Listto MS Edge,
by setting the list xml path to "file:///c:\\templist.xml" (Local File URL),
but it's not recognized by MS Edge (The group policy on both Edge and IE11 are enabled)

Also, on the same guide there exists "Open in IE" checkbox on theEnterprise Mode Site List Manager,
but the checkbox isn't present on the version that can be downloaded from the official MS download page.
I'd like to know where I can get the latest version of Enterprise Mode Site List Manager.
2. The guide above mentions about the page where I can find "Automatically open this site with IE11"checkbox,
and I wonder under what condition MS Edge displays this page.
I heard there are three conditions: Enterprise Mode Site List,Intranet Fallback Policy Set, and MS Compatibility List,
but is there any different method to force users to see this page?

managing Enterprise Mode list.
here is my process when I need to add a site to my enterprise mode xml file:
1. open Enterprise Mode Site List Manager
2. bulk add from file, select my enterprise mode xml file.
3. add the site
4. save to xml, select my enterprise mod xml file overwrite it.
I do it this way because I have other people on my team also updating the xml file on their workstations with the site list manager installed. so when I open the List Manager tool on my desktop, I need to load all the sites from the latest version of the xml file, otherwise when I save my list back to the xml, it's not going to have any sites that were added by other people on other machines. (Or when I get a new PC myself...I've had this happen a few times and have had to rebuild the entire list.)
the issue I see here is that when I do this, the "rules version" at the top of the xml file always gets reset back to 1. the way I understand it, IE compares its currently loaded version to the version in the xml file to see if it needs to reload the newer version of the xml. so having it go back to 1 every time I add a site doesn't seem ideal.
i'm assuming that this site list manager tool was implemented to extract the role of managing this list away from the group policy administrator. which is great and all, but surely MS thought about more than one person managing the list from more than one computer.
am I doing this wrong? or understanding the point of the version number incorrectly?

F5 Networks Firepass and Internet Explorer 11
I am running Windows 7 and recently appear to have been upgraded to Internet Explorer 11.
A Couple of days ago i was successfully using F5 Firepass (using IE 10). Today i cant use it...
After sorting out Kaspersky - which has started to consoder the logon as needing a secure keyboard entry (never did this before...),
I am getting warnings; (a) that Javascript is not enabled - it looks enabled to me...
(b) I need to install the F5 Browser plugin.
I have downloaded the plugin (NPuroamHost.dll), and the instructions are to 'unpack it into the plugins folder of your browser tree.'
Where on earth is this?
I found another post elsewhere with a similar problem - and the solution was to uninstall Internet Explorer 11. Amazing!

Exclude subsite from IE11 Enterprise Mode site list
Hi,
We're using the IE11 Enterprise mode tool to manage a list of website for which we want the IE11 Enterprise mode to be swicthed ON automatically. All is wokring fine.
I have received a request to remove the Enterprise mode only for a couple of URLs of a site, the whole site must remain in Enteprrise mode.
Ex :
- https://site.docmain.com must be in Enterprise mode
- https://site.docmain.com/subsit1/ must NOT be in Enterprise mode
- https://site.docmain.com/subsit2/page.html must NOT be in Enterprise mode
- https://site.docmain.com/subsit2/page.html#Param must NOT be in Enterprise mode
Current setup :
<rules version="35"><emie><domain exclude="false">site.domain.com</domain></emie><docMode /></rules>
Is this achievable via the Enterprise mode tool or must this be done by manually editing the XML ?
What would be the syntax?

Post-Platform User Agent String and IE11 F12 User Agent String Change
Hi
We have a custom User Agent String defined on our clients. When I change IE9 to Compatibility Mode (over F12 Developer Toolbar), the User Agent String changed and the custom definied token stayed.
When I change the User Agent String in IE11 (e.g. to IE9) over F12, the custom definied User Agent String is removed.
Is this by default and is there another way to change the user agent string for troubleshooting but keep the custom definied token?

Yahoo email via internet explorer
Since the recent changes to Yahoo/BT email via IE, I cannot change text (font, size) settings in my own messages. I have had various suggestions, but cannot take advantage of these because I cannot find a toolbar (like the one above) anywhere, nor can I download one.

It is a real issue in work and I am a service-desk and during dealing with an issue.
I found a very strange issue and it is one big internal website can't loaded normally and it is always redirected into another website. But other users beside the user all can open the big internal website normally.
And the user uses IE11 and all internet websites are OK for opening.Also I found resetting IE can't work for change IE home page even I set related home page for the IE.Let user reboot his PC then check it but it still can't work.
It seems his IE was kidnappd by some software.
Does anyone knows which tool is good for fix IE such as IE 9 and IE 11?

Setting browser default to IE does not work
I just upgraded to Windows10. Since Edge does not support Norton security extensions against phishing, etc., I want to set the browser to IE. I set the browser default to IE but it does not change from Edge. How do I make the correct change?

When I try Fix it I see error message:

I try to fixed it myself like this is described in the article.
I create iexplore.exe and explorer.exe DWORD values with 0 in:

The result is that when I enter my url with username and pass in IE11 and I don’t see the basic authentication window, but I see only white page. Actually my application is not loaded.
Must I change something else in IE or regkey or on other place to make this work?

File Transfer Manager Not Working on IE 11 - Win7

after the IE11 has been installed on my system by windows update, the Microsoft File Transfer Manager (FTM) doesn't work anymore.
I think is because my system is 64bit and the IE11 runs always in 64bit mode even when it is started from "program files (x86)" folder.
I tried uninstall, reinstall and nothing.
I installed FTM by MSI file but without success.
I removed completely FTM from the system and acessed the Technet download site and the MSDN download site (to reinstall the activeX) but nothing happened.
Currently, I only can download files by direct download.
Any sugestions?
