IE11 with current Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium 64bit - Yesterday I allowed Windows Update to upgrade IE10 to IE11. Since that upgrade, when I'm using IE11, my fast desktop PC has MANY frequent little "waits", where the little spinning
circle appears on the screen. I think the spinning circle replaced the old hourglass. Anyway, when the circle is on the screen, things are frozen. Even as I type this posting, the keyboard has frozen for a second or two every few seconds.
This NEVER happened with previous versions of IE and it never happens now with Firefox or Chrome. Reboot does not fix the problem. Only freezes when IE11 is open. Freezes/waits also are happening without the circle appearing. What
to do?

Why does IE11 on Win7 x64 bit opens only 32 bit instances for every page (tab)
When I start IE 11 on Windows 7 x64, it opens one 64 bit instance, but opens only 32 bit instances for every tab I browse on.
Can anyone explain why that is?

Strange Internet Explorer Problem - Please Help....
Hello , I have the weirdest problem, In win 7 64 bit, Updates were installed automaticly.
When installing Internet Explorer 11 Updates i noticed that the updates weren't installed successfuly, Internet Explorer doesn't work , it opens and closes right away.
I uninstalled internet explorer 11 update from control panel - installed updates, still doesnt work, i uninstalled also internet explorer 10 and 9 updates because the Explorer still didn't work.
The situation now is that in the installed updates there is no evidence of internet explorer at all, Internet explorer still opens and closes right away.
I tried installing Explorer 9,10,11 but it says i already have internet explorer installed, when i install 9 it says i already have 9 installed same for 10 and 11 says i already have a more recent version.
I'm helpless please assist...

IE 9 download manager auto resume
Is there a way to get the IE9 download manager to auto resume. I am trying to pickup a file from a site that is seeing a bunch of downloads. It is a pain to have to click resume every few munutes. In other dl managers there are
usually ways to auto resume so that it does not requre someone to touch the app every few minutes.

I can only start with add-ons disabled. Up until about two weeks ago it was working fine except it kept changing my home page to some search engine. I disabled the searc site and then my IE 8 started acting up.

Internet problems
I have Vista Home Premium on my PC. I downloaded IE 9. Since then, IE shuts down spontaneously. It is very slow to search, and some websites get hung up. I tried to go back to IE8, but it didn't let me. Do you have any suggestions? I am very frusterated.

Search provider plugin \ default language when starting to type
My father has IE 11 in Hebrew running on Windows 7 in Hebrew.
For some reason, when he focuses on address bar and try to search something the default keyboard is in English (instead of Hebrew) which frustrated him every time once revealing he printed in the wrong language. Is there a way to change the default lang when starting to hit the address bar?
BTW in his office he has the same environment and in there the default is Hebrew.

Internet Explorer : while click on attach button by any mail like Gmail ,Yahoomail , it asks for password and says multiple conection to a server or shared resource by the same user or another user are not allowed.

down grading from windows 8 to windows 7
having just been given a vaio laptop in place of my last laptop it has come with windows 8.... can't get on with it and have tried but after some months I find I have this lovely laptop but do not use it as would rather windows 7. have attempted to install
from disc that my husband used on last laptop to change from vista to windows 7 but cannot get it to accept it... please help I need to change this I hate windows 8 it is so very unusable and unfriendly

Unable to download after downgrading from IE10
At the enterprise I work at Internet Explorer 10 was installed automatically by accident, there were a lot of websites that were incompatible so we had to downgrade to IE9. Since then on 100% of the computers users are unable to download ANYTHING.
If you try to download something from any webpage (including Microsoft) you will either get a "unable to download" or nothing happens. The one commonality is that these computers are Windows 7 64-bit SP1. Other than that they were loaded
by different people using different images.
So as of right now not even Windows Updates works, you can't even view downloads in IE. Here are just some of the steps I've done to fix this.
Reset IE
Restore Advanced Settings
Allow basically everything in security settings
Change temporary internet files location
Delete Temp file
Delete all history, download history, temporary internet files
Add "SkipSSLNoCacheCheck" and "SkipHTTPNoCacheCheck" in registry
Re-register every DLL I can find
I believe the problem has something to do with caching because the SkipSSLNoCacheCheck registry entries will fix it if you downgrade from IE10 all the way back down to IE8. But it does not work with IE9. Given that this has affected every computer we've downgraded on I've got to believe that other people have experienced this. Anyone?
EDIT: I notice that in the History Settings page the Current Location is blank and I can't change the Check for newer versions of stored pages as well as the Disk space to use is always 0 and I'm unable to change that. Also pressing Alt + J doesn't do anything.

IE 11 Page loading Issue
Hi,
I have Windows 8.1 running IE 11. I have regular issues on 3 Windows 8.1 devices with IE11 not being able to load pages. The Microsoft.com page doesn't even load at times. I get a "This page cant be displayed" error or the page loads but most content is displayed as text only. If I load the exact same page using Firefox it will load up right away. Is there a compatibility setting or something that I need to set? I really don't want to have to use Firefox as my default browser.

Download IE 8 issue
I have windows vista. Because of a virus my pc had to be put back to the way it was when I first purchased the it. I am running IE 7, but want to upgrade to IE 8. I have downloaded SP1 and SP2, and all updates that I can find.
When I try to update to IE8 it seems to go through but then I get a message....IE IS NOT SUPPORTED ON THIS OPERATION SYSTEM. Can someone please tell me what this means and what I need to do?

Internet Explorer is opening itself with blank pages
About two weeks ago, I was on my laptop when my buddy thought it to be funny when he started pressing a number of random keys on my keyboard. When he did this my computer screen froze and I had to restart the computer. When it came back on I tired to get onto Internet Explorer. I opened it and it came up a blank page, and wouldn't let me put anything into the address bar and nothing but a white screen comes up.
Now two weeks later the Internet Explorer page is popping up on it's own and the page is still blank. Plus the pages are popping up about five at a time. This is become a very frustrating issue, especially since I just got this laptop a couple months ago. Is there anything that I can do to fix this issue without having to take it somewhere? I'm not very IT capable, but I now normally enough to get through small issue, but not this time. Any help would be great!

IE 11 won't install and IE 10 won't uninstall (Error 9C47)
I use a Toshiba Satellite laptop and Windows 7.
I'm sure many others have had the problem of Windows Update refusing to let Internet Explorer 11 install (Error 9C47). I have tried troubleshooting. In the updates section, the "important update" is IE 11, but one of the "optional updates" is IE 10. However, I already have IE 10 installed on my computer, shown in my Installed Updates.
I tried uninstalling the IE 10 shown in my Installed Updates but it will not uninstall, saying it "cannot be completed." This is the same message that comes up after trying to install IE 11.
I have also tried installing IE 11 directly from the site, which comes up with the same error. I tried to install IE 10 from the site as well, but the error message said I already have an updated version installed.
Please help, this is driving me insane.
