We are using Active Directory. And our users computers are in our domain. They have user authority on computers (not administrator). And we are using a web application which has a twain. When we are login to computer as a system domain admin or local admin
(administrator), the web page with twain driver is working correctly. But when I login to computer as an domain user, web page with Twain driver is not working. I am trying Internet Explorer 8,9,10, 11 in windows 7 , it is working. But on windows 10 not working
(only working as an admin). So that How can I run Internet Explorer as an admin in user account from gpedit.msc or regedit or Group Policy local or DC.

IEAK11 Question - How to deploy the built IE11 and how to check it?
Hi,
I am doing some testing with IEAK11, so I installed IEAK 11 on a 2012 R2 machine. I have a Windows 8.1 Pro machine setup as the target, so I used IEAK11 to build an Internal build with some changes to mainly the Privacy settings and I DID choose to add our company name to the branding.
Now that I have the built .exe and .msi installers, I have a couple of questions:
1) How do we install the installers on the target 8.1 machine? Do we uninstall the already-existing IE 11 and then run the built installer? Or do we just run the built installer (.exe or .msi)?
2) After we run the built installer, where does the branding appear (where can we see it)?

do you have a Idea why this happens?
Problem: we have 2x Win2016 WTS in a Farm with one Broker. We updated only one Server with Windows Updates.
Since then: www.google.de and www.google.com shows canot load page
already done troubleshouting:
- IE Version are now similar
- google.pl und google.at are working
-google.de / com works via IE private Modus
-Ping is possible
-no change when trying via IP
-Watchguard has now http/https Webfilter
-we have no complicated IE Security Setup / GPO...
-Firefox is working with that pages, EDGE not installed
-Reboot of WTS
-Google Page is working on other PCs within the network
-we have no entries in hosts file or in local DNS Server...

Will Symantec Certificates be still Trusted ?
I am working on the network security domain and i would like to know what is Microsoft's stand on the Symantec certificates.
Will they be continued to be trusted on Internet Explorer ? Will the websites using Symantec certificates , when accessed through IE, show some error messages ? I am asking this question as i couldn't find an answer/ statement from Microsoft if Symantec certificates will remain to be trusted or if the certificates would be distrusted.

IE11 crashes when started from Visual Studio
I upgraded to Windows 10 and when I debug my websites from Visual Studio using IE 11, IE just closes. All I can see is in VS's Output [Debug] Window is:
The program '[984] iexplore.exe' has exited with code -1073741790 (0xc0000022).
The program '[6600] w3wp.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0).
These lines are after successfully loading several assemblies.
I was using VS 2013. I uninstalled 2013, cleaned everything up and installed VS 2015 and I'm still having the same issue.
If I use Edge, Chrome, FireFox or Safari everything works from VS. If I start IE using Ctrl+F5 it works. It's only when I choose to debug with IE it fails.
It fails whether or not the website is hosted by IIS or IIS Express.
IE has better integration so I prefer to use it for general debugging. How do I fix this?
I've disabled all add-ons, reset Security to default, and reset all my setting in IE to default. I've uninstall IE and reinstalled it. I performed a Repair on VS. Made sure to have all the latest Windows Update. No good on any of this and I can't figure out how to get more info on why it's failing. There is nothing in the Event Log and I also enabled CrashDumps and no files show up for this issue. I ran ProcessMonitor and nothing stands out as the issue there either.
I created a new blank web project and added one web form to it with text to test with. No JavaScript or anything and IE11 fails to load when running in debug mode from VS.
IE has better integration with VS so I prefer to use it for general debugging. How do I fix this?

Can no longer open CHM files across the local network after installing CU for Windows 1709 for x64 Systems (KB4103727)
We had previously used a group policy preference to set the following registry value, which allows the opening of CHM or Windows Help files from network paths. We also place the network paths in the Local Intranet zone in IE, although it should automatically detect it as local anyway.
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions\MaxAllowedZone (DWORD) = 1
This works perfectly for all of our users, until we install KB4103727. After this we get a, "Can't reach this page error" from our CHM files.
I double checked the registry and the Local Intranet zone in IE and everything looks like it should.

Internet Explorer 11 stops responding and gives recover webpage error while on outlook.office365.com
This will occur intermittently, but consistently. If a user is switching between emails or trying to download an attachment, Internet Explorer will stop responding and prompt you to "recover webpage." If you let it go for a few minutes, it may respond finally, or may not and need to be recovered.
I have tried deleting browsing history and clearing the cache, running IE11 without addons, and fiddling with numerous settings. This only occurs on machines with a certain Group Policy, and the only difference in Internet Options Advanced settings is "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" is checked on the affected machines, but not on my machine, where it works fine (though somewhat slow). Our Group Policy resets the Internet Options settings upon restarting, so I am not currently able to test if this is the culprit without consulting the network admin first.
I have included the Windows Event Viewer logs for these errors if it helps.

I.E. 11 will not remember passwords even though the option is turned on
I'm wondering who can answer this.
I.E. 11 will not remember passwords even though the option is turned on. This happens only on a few Windows 10 computers with I.E. 11 (but not all win 10 computers in our domain though).
I've verified that this happens to multiple accounts on the same computer.
I've also went into tools->internet options->content->autocomplete and ensured that the options are turned on.
I've also uninstalled and re-installed IE, but the issue still persists.
I'm starting to think that there's a corrupt file or registry entry somewhere that may be causing issues, or it's some kind of security permissions issue that's preventing windows from writing to certain files or registry entries.
Does anyone have any ideas?

"translate now" and "Gtranslate" have special option for to select destination language but have not an easy shortcut for a selected word
This add-ons should be able to tranlste a word of a pdf file imported in IE11 in a new tab very fast tothepreferred language

we also try Chrome. it works fine. I turn off windows feature for internet explorer 11.00(OS Windows 7 PRO) and re-turn on again.

IE11 - unable to login to www.ou.nl
Hi,
OU is a website for online training course.
I have a user reporting me that she is unable to see her course content after she logs in to URL (www.ou.nl). There is a button at the top mijnOU when clicked on it the page displays login page correctly but after entering the credentials the page keeps loading on "waiting..." and after a minute it displays '' you must close all browser windows to be fully log out" - all these happens when accessing the URL from her company joined computer. It neither works on corporate LAN nor on Wifi.
Luckily, the same URL works fine on her Personal PC at home wifi.
As a first troubleshooting step:-
- I added the URL to Trusted list but no luck
- Added the site to compatibility in IE
- IE reset
- Password change
All steps did not solve the issue. Please guide or suggest something.

iexplore Processes not ending when closing IE11
I have an oddly specific problem that I can't seem to diagnose. Running IE11 on Windows 7 and trying to troubleshoot a problem where iexplore.exe processes are not ended when closing Internet Explorer.
In particular, this seems to be a problem when launching IE with a command line argument such as from a desktop shortcut or email link. And even more specifically, it only seems to be a problem when the URL in question fits the proxy bypass list that our corporation has set up.
I have found a similar issue on a Citrix message board (http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/332011-published-ie-and-session-staying-active-after-ie-is-closed/ ) but unfortunately this post didn't have a solution either.
Any ideas/suggestions would be most welcome.

How to limit websites to allow on internet explorer

I have a local network and all servers have internet access and I want to allow non-admin users whoever is connecting to windows server 2012 R2, they should only have access to limited websites which I wanted. Can I make it happen through GPO ?
Shortly, I just wanted only few websites to be allowed access on internet explorer. Please suggest your ideas.
