I am currently having issues logging into the Marine On Line (MOL) portal. I enter the username and password then it takes me to the messages screen. Once I click to go to my main screen it gives me the error "SSO Validation Failed. Close all browsers and try to log in again". Are there setting issues that I should be adjusting or what could the issue be?
Win 8.1 / IE 11 latest version
Recently IE has stopped showing all images. If I've done this right, I've attached four screenshots - 2 from IE and 2 from Chrome. How do I get IE to display as Chrome does?
Does anyone know if there is any difference when using MHT format over word with respect to accessibility? Is there anywhere known to find more information?
We are trying to meet Ontario legislative requirements, but the file format doesn't have much support on this topic.
Thanks!

I tried the below troublehooting steps and it did not help
1. Added the customs.ru to Compatibility Settings in UE
2. "Initialize and script active x controls is not marked safe for scripting" is enabled in IE under Security Custome Level

Hi Everyone
We have some issues with languages and Windows 10.
IE/Edge cannot access the language list, so some websites are shown in English. But we have different locations over the world where they need different languages.
We have discovered above setting 'General - Privacy - let websites provide locally relevant content by accessing my language list' On/Off
So we turn it on, and it seems to work. Websites are shown in a different language than English.
Once the user restarts the PC, the setting is still shown as 'enabled', but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Now the interesting thing:
even though we switch the setting to disable this time, it starts to work again.
Again, we do a restart.
Setting stops working. Once we enable it again, it also works again.
It seems , after every restart the setting gets lost, even though, on the GUI it shows ON.
For me it seems to be a bug with Windows 10. We have tested it on Version 1703, 1709 and Version 1803, same result.
We also used following website to test it:What is meant or implied by the phrase "local addresses" in the "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" option? You mean the computers in my domain? To the IPs inside my LAN? Or what do you mean?
Thank you very much.
Gabriel
Hey !
So brand new PC - HP thing - installed 8.1 and it's got IE 11 in it ..... logged in - got the usual MS crap and ads in bloody MSN.
Picked google.ca as the start page and EVERY TIME I close the app and re-open it I get more ads and MSN bullshit!!
And yea, I specifically went in to Tools - Options and selected Google and NOT bloody MSN as the home page and told the startup option below the address bar to: Start with Home Page - and picked that radio button.
So what MS "force their crap down your throat" is this now?? Getten so sick of MS getting more aggressive because their market share is going for crap!!
Cheers'
Dave
Have recently gone through moving servers and users to new domain for a client via ADMT. This is worth mentioning but does not seem relevant as this issue is affecting new users as well. Staff are setup with roaming profiles which includes the Favorites folder.
Staff on the network are unable to create new Favorites and when attempting to receive a message advising "Access is Denied". Staff are the owners of their Roaming Profile and have Full Access to it and the Favorites Folder. They can create and delete files from the Favorites folder and also create folders via IE here without any issue.
Is IE not using the users account for access? Nothing at all is logged either on the local VDI or on the server. Permissions are all just SYSTEM, Administrators and the the staff member as Full Access.
I've dragged out ProcessMonitor and not sure how to find more info via that, I can find the entries for it trying to add the Favorite and again it's literally "ACCESS DENIED" there. User the process is running as is the correct account that should have access.
Where do I go from here?
I am used Exists activity for the popup but not able to reach it and is throwing me.
Cannot communicate with internet explorer browser.
Plz help me for issues/alternatives.

Hi guys
I already posted my question on Microsoft answers (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie11-windows_7/choose-your-homepage-and-search-settings/2966bcb3-3ddb-4a26-8c51-07b5aa40e4ef), it was suggested there that I post it here as well:
Since the latest update to Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (KB3148198), my users experience the following message (on Win7, Win 8.1 and Win 10):
http://www.sevenforums.com/browsers-mail/394764-anybody-else-get-notification-ie.html
Of course, this is disturbing for many of my users, and, what's worse, since we use dynamic local profiles in our company (i.e. the user profile is created from the DEFAULT profile on each and every login), this message shows up after each and every login which normally happens once a day.
My colleagues (and my boss!) have asked me to get rid of this message.
I have monitored what happens in the registry when you choose "Your current settings", it writes quite some strange registry entries (HEX-values) which all have something to do with "SyncHomePage Protected - It is a violation of Windows Policy to modify. See aka.ms/browserpolicy". Windows insiders will know which registry settings I mean.
Specifically, I'm talking about what's written in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\EUPP Protected - It is a violation of Windows Policy to modify. See aka.ms/browserpolicy
and the respective subkeys. Those contain binary values, and I suppose those are user specific, and that's the problem - if they are user-specific, I cannot deploy them to all network computers for all users.
If I export those regkeys and deploy them to users, there will be an error message on the first start of IE, stating that settings had to be reset as they were corrupt.
The default homepage and search providers at our company are set via regkeys (or have been, until now).
Is there any way to still set default search provider and start page in IE 11 WITHOUT users seeing ANY popups? Even for dynamic local users?
I'm not sure if uninstalling KB3148198 is an option, it looks like this update does more than just add this "feature" I don't want, and maybe it's even required in order to get further updates.
So what can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Peter
I am having an issue adding an IP address to trusted sites for all users. I have tried using Google to change the registry for the local machine. I have also tried using gpedit under "Site to Zone Assignment List" and it also doesn't work.
I don't want to use group policy. I would like to do this with regedit.
I am using Windows Server 2008 R2.
I am working on the network security domain and i would like to know what is Microsoft's stand on the Symantec certificates.
Will they be continued to be trusted on Internet Explorer ? Will the websites using Symantec certificates , when accessed through IE, show some error messages ? I am asking this question as i couldn't find an answer/ statement from Microsoft if Symantec certificates will remain to be trusted or if the certificates would be distrusted.
