I have two PCs, both running Windows 10 and IE 11.0. I would like to sync Favorites between the two PCs. I have not been able to get a satisfactory sync. I want Favorites on PC1 to be synced to PC2. But, everything I have tried, ends up with PC2 Favorites in alphabetical order, not in the order on PC1.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

I cannot connect to any website through Internet Explorer. Moreover, the applications which depend on IE stopped working as well (Skype, etc.). 

Internet Service Provider has checked the connection and there is no problem on their side.

I can connect to the Internet using Chrome and Firefox, although the speed is 5 time less than it should be.

I've tried everything that has been suggested in this post http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie11-iewindows_10/windows-10-explorer-edge-skype-stopped-working/908bd22f-05cf-4023-bdb9-dd60fd324954 but the problem persists.

Above is my log. I have tried all sorts of way for the past 1 week.

Performed all System updates. Unchecked IE9 and IE11 in the Programes and Features. Googled the hell out and tried all sorts of other solution but just can't seem to get it to work. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.

Our Problem is that on Internet Explorer Version IE V. 11.0.9600.18314 appears a Botton with the Information " Content not secure".  we ignore the message and load the Website and our Formular appears but not as it should.

Being unable to log into Microsoft Skype I found it's a problem with JavaScript in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

What possibilities are there that can block JavaScript?

I've switched off security programs, downgraded to IE10, flushed all data and reset everything. I've manually switched JavaScript off, restarted and then manually switched it on just to make sure.

I've re-registered both JS modules successfully. I've have asked in different places without any solutions being offered.

There is no way I can enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer, while it's fine in other browsers.

Any ideas?

             I am using Internet Explorer(11) application in Windows 2008 R2 server. While opening one service (MVM 7.5) throw the Internet Explorer, it is giving error and message is " XSLTProcesser is Undefined" at Line 473. Please provide the solution for it.

I am trying (and failing) to find an article or web page from Microsoft stating that IE 11 will continue to support Applets / Active X for the duration of it's software support life cycle (Windows 10 end of life).  I would be surprised if IE 11 would stop supporting either of these features half way through, but if that's even remotely possible then we need to start planning for it now.

My domaincomputers have enhanced security switched on by default.
Being an educational institute, we try to incorporate a lot of news and video's in our lessons.

I had to move http://www.deredactie.be/cm/vrtnieuws/videozone to the trusted websites because video was blocked.
Apparently, the Facebook/twitter integration (scripts on external websites) gets blocked by default because of said enhanced security. And because the website loads those scripts before the video, the video was also blocked.

Now

When we link from PowerPoint to a website that is in the trusted list, that website won't load.
We just receive a blank page but ONLY when Internet Explorer has not been started yet.
If IE 11.0.9600.17937 already displays any website at all, the powerpoint-link works just fine.

Steps to recreate the problem:

• have a domqincomputer
• Open Internet Explorer
• enable enhanced security on internet
• disable enhanced security on trusted websites
• put any website on the trusted website list
• close Internet Explorer

• Open PowerPoint 2013 x64
• create two links
  • one to the trusted website
  • one to a not trusted website

Make it fail

• make sure Internet explorer is closed
• click the trusted website website
• observe the blank page

Make it work

• make sure Internet explorer is closed
• click the not-trusted website
• observe the not-trusted website

• keep the website open
• now click the trusted website
• observe the trusted website

not sure if i seen this before but here is my question.

Recently we had a person who has a problem using IE 11 and her favorites.

When she opens internet explorer her favorites under the tab works perfectly:

When she opens a second tab her favorites dissapear and are no where to be found:

The odd thing is when choosing the favorites icon on the right top you Always have your favorites. it also doenst matter with tab you are in the favorites work that way.

Any ideas?

I setup a new user on a stand-alone Windows 10 laptop this weekend and noticed that most websites hang in both Edge and IE11.  I had a look at the user's rights and made sure that they were removed from the local USERS group and only were a member of the Administrators group.  Then I looked at IE itself and found that if I ran IE as administrator, it worked fine, so I logged the user out and back in again, and still nothing.  I also noticed that IE has a setting to run with administrative privileges, which I enabled and still nothing.  I thought at this point that it might be a website issue, or at least an ISP issue.  I tried the same sites with the first logged in account on the same machine and everything worked fine.

At this point I was looking at a user rights issue, I thought.  Then I tried the same sites with the new user using Chrome and everything worked fine.  So I'm at a loss as to what this might be.  I've check that IE is using software rendering so that's not the issue.

Any ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

An example of a site would be to go to www.webex.com then try to log in.  The login page just spins and spins.

When i try to open MS PowerPoint file from Internet using IE11, i always get error message not enough memory or systen resources. After clicking ok and waiting few seconds file opens correctly. Saving file from the net works but when trying to just open, error message comes.

There is no errors when using Firefox or Chrome but only when using IE11.

Windows version or Office version is not the reason. I have tried using Win7 and Win10 and also Office 2013 and 2016. Same thing also happens from different web sites

Any idea why this happens?

OK so I am battling an autoimmune disease and asked my son to get some directions to a new doc I am supposed to see. Not sure what he did, he said he clicked on a direction site, but anyway now when I open explorer it puts up a warning page saying i have to call Microsoft to get my computer fixed. I was able to use chrome to get my doctor directions, but I have a lot of sites saved on explorer and would like to fix it. Please make your directions simple because my 14 year old son is most likely to be the one doing this. Thank you anyone who can help us.

Under Internet Options > Security > Local Intranet > Sites — there is an option to automatically detect intranet sites.

How does this work? Because it doesn't seem to work.  It will not automatically detect that one of our internal websites is an internal website.  I assume that it is supposed to do what it says it does.

Do I need to do something in DNS? 

The only way I can get the browser to see that this site is an intranet site (for integrated authentication purposes) is to manually add the domain to the list of intranet sites, which completely defeats the point of any option like "automatically detect".

So how do I get it to work?

I have a user that when they try to log into Duke Progress Energy's website at https://www.progress-energy.com/app/loginregistration/login.aspx it will redirect them to a "one time authentication" page which requires them to use a one-time key to log in on a new computer.  When going to this one-time website (secure8.i-doxs.net) it will get an error message that says...

This page can't be displayed

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in the Advanced settings and try connecting to https://secure8.i-doxs.net again.  If this error persists, contact your site administrator.

Well, I'm the site administrator and I can confirm that TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are all enabled and forced by GPO.  Restarting IE and rebooting did not help.  Chrome and Firefox both work flawlessly.

I would like to disable the feature of internet explorer 9 automatically going to full screen when you drag a window to the top of the screen.  I find that behavior very annoying.  I frequently drag windows to the top of the screen to reveal underlying windows, and when IE 9 automatically goes full screen on me, that defeats my purpose of dragging that window out of the way.  If I want to resize the window, I'll resize it.  If the window is sized how I want it, I don't want it going free spirit on me and resizing itself.  I want my interface to do what I tell it to do, not what it wants to do. 

How do I defeat this feature (bug)?

Ok, this is a bit off topic, but let me put this up:

1. On a windows 7 with the latest Java, I am accessing a Java page

2. This page doesn't have a trusted certificate, as its an educational purpose one, anyway, I get the message :

"Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running."

3. Referring to : http://www.java.com/en/download/help/appsecuritydialogs.xml : I can as a Admnistrative user go in and goto Control Panel, Get to Java (32-bit)  and open it up
Then I can go to Security and add the exception there.
My issue is with users who are non-administrators.

So I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar requirement where they had to do something in the Java Control Panel and used an ADM template, one they created or one available somewhere to configure it globally.
