Saving responsive web page as mht file causes responsiveness to be lost.

Like the title says - when I save a responsive web page in internet explorer as a mht file - the responsiveness is gone. Behavior is the same in both IE9 and IE10. I did find a Firefox plug in that seems to work for this functionality - but I don't want to roll out Firefox to my entire office - which requires this functionality. Is there any love for saving responsive pages in IE?
