Have a group policy that is supposed to be forcing IE (version 11 now) to open 3 tabs when opened.
Currently, it opens 1 tab, which is the home page.. and nothing else.. however, when I click the home button.. it pops in with all 3 tabs.. anyone have any ideas?
I"m using the GPO settings under User configuration
User Configuration
-Windows Components
--Internet Explorer
---- Disable Changing Home Page settings (set to desired default home page)
---- Disable changing secondary home page settings (has both entries for secondary home pages)
I copied the setup as best I could from an IE9 GPO, however that gpo was using IE maintenance settings, which don't exist in IE11. Most of the settings are exactly the same, except of course the ones that don't exist in the new GPO. New GPO was created on a Wiin8.1 box with RSAT installed. OLD GPO has been removed from service and is no longer being applied.. have checked.
I've confirmed that it is IE11, on both win7 and win8.1.
Any suggestions on what I have missed?
have already checked (or tried to) the tab setting pointing to open all pages or just single home page... no difference.
