Internet Explorer 11 freezes up on opening and clicking any item on the favorites bar or any of the other options like Page / Safety Tools etc. from the Command Bar . The IE 11 normally opens up to a blank page as set. The only add-ons are Java Console and McAfee tool bar. Disabling them does not help. The freeze up last for around 4 minutes after which it works for normal.
The freeze up next occurs if a separate tab opening is attempted. Following this the freeze up again occurs when any item on the menu bar
Separate window sessions can be opened. However on each of them, the same situation occurs until the first one comes thru and then the rest work.
Internet options are set to delete browsing history on exit. This occurred after one of the Windows updates in December. However I am not sure which one.
I have 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 Operating system on Dell Inspiron 2305.
Chip AMD Athlon II x4 610e 2.4GHz Processor.
IE Version 11.0.9600.17501. Update Version 11.0.15
