Issue:
Multiple Windows 8 Pro machines using IE 10, otherwise functioning normally, are unable to successfully load full featured OWA 2013. After login, the Outlook Web App splash screen just sits there with the activity circle spinning indefinitely.
Troubleshooting:
- Same machines, same logins plus several additional ones, same IE 10 browser accessing the same server will succeed ifUse Outlook Web Access Light is selected prior to logging in; not having full featured OWA is not an acceptable ongoing workaround to the business.
- Again, everything the same as the first bullet point except for activating compatibility view in the browser, only OWA Light succeeds in loading.
- Again, everything the same but having reset IE options including zones to default [so not in line with business & IT policies], only OWA Light succeeds in loading.
- Once more, everything the same except for using Firefox 20.0.1 as the browser OWA Light and Full succeed in loading, but of course there are a few key features [e.g. offline mode] that are not available for Firefox so this also is not an acceptable workaround.
- Checked AD and Exchange 2013 for abnormalities or changes of any sort - nothing.
- Did full disk cleaning on two of the machines to purge cache, temp files, etc. just to see if that would have any effect, but no change in behavior re: OWA.
- The same two machines have been restarted several times in the troubleshooting process.
Comments:
What's odd is that users claim that initially [this past Wednesday] they were able to access full featured OWA, but after two days [yesterday] it stopped working. Any insight or additional troubleshooting approaches would be much appreciated!
