Hi,
I am in the process of upgrading from ie8 to ie10 on our Win7 SP1 student PCs. Our uni is subscribed to the online book company "Dawsonera.com" so that our students can have controlled access to online books.
Online reading and downloading works fine on ie8. After installing ie10, I am having a major problem when clicking on the read book icon, the message displayed on the screen is"NAVIGATION TO THE WEBPAGE WAS CANCELED". Clicking on "Download" option just hangs the session.
If I use a local account with no group policy applied, the display and download functions work fine. If I put the student account in to Local Administrators group, the display and download functions work fine.
Can anyone advise what Group Policy I need to amend to allow this function to work for non-administrator login accounts.
There is no problem just opening a PDF from the ie10 browser, this works fine. Acrobat Reader V11.0.7 installed.
