Office 365 Outlook Web App X-UA-Compatible IE=10

Hi,

I use IE11 as my primary browser. I've recently noticed that in the Outlook Web App in many of the emails that contain pictures as links have the ugly blue border around the pictures.

I've started to investigate a little and I've noticed that Outlook Web App uses the <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=10"/> header in all requests.
If I switch to Edge mode in the developer toolbar of IE11 everything looks fine. Please see the pictures I've attached.

Are there any reason to force IE10 compatibility mode in Office365 OWA? It seems to me that everything works fine with Edge mode.

(In Chrome and Firefox everthing looks fine)

Thanks!
Csaba

This mail is just one example, many others behave the same way (mails from Spotify, Netflix, Facebook....), so I'm sure the problem is not with this email.
