I think if Microsoft were to mimic Chrome, and place the tabs for Internet Explorer at the top, this would give IE a tremendous boost in usability.
I primarily use Chrome at work almost entirely because of this feature, but I use IE for certain functions (i.e. remote tunneling, cloud uploads). Having tabs at the top saves space. This greatly enhances the user experience. I mean, what is all that unused real-estate doing at the top of the IE window?
