Java will not run using IE 11 and Windows 8.1 64 bit from the desktop. I have done all the idiotic things people have suggested and none of them work. I have both the 32 bit and 64 bit version of Java installed. I have disabled my firewall and security software and I have tried half a dozen other ridiculous things. None work. I have two different computers running 8.1 and IE 11 the problem exists on both. Java runs just fine using Firefox all other factors the same.
FIX IT OR TELL ME SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS TO FIX IT!
