IE 10 unable to upload
Since Upgrading to Internet Explorer 11 (Version 11.0.9600.16428) Outlook.com no longer allows me to view my Calendar.
Hello
Since Upgrading to Internet Explorer 11 (Version 11.0.9600.16428) Outlook.com no longer allows me to view my Calendar.
It displays a Blank Page when I select the calendar
bay04.calendar.live.com/calendar/calendar.aspx
Is this a known issue with the new build of Internet Explorer 11 (Version 11.0.9600.16428) ?
Thanks

IE 11 Performance Issues
Hello,
I have installed IE 11 and its cosuming too much memory. It literally hangs and also make other apps slow. I have tried reinstalling , disabling addons, resetting, using software rendering, but doesnt seems to be improving the performance. I tried
using IE10 from debugging mode, its fast and fine. So the issue is definitely with IE11. Please assist.

IE 11 Website Display Issues - Scripts/Images
I'm having website display issues with IE 11 on Windows 8.1 64-bit, ironically with Microsoft.com, Bing Search and TechNet forums amongst others. The IE 11 version is: 11.09600.16384.
Microsoft.com looks as follows:
If I reset IE settings then everything is OK until the next GPO sync on the client, at which point the sites are all broken again.
Using the IEZoneAnalyzer tool I have sync'd Group Policy, then reset (IE settings > Advanced > Reset) and compared the differences - GPO defined/pushed settings under 'GPO', defaults (following reset) under 'Reset':
I've tried changing the settings that are different to no avail... any ideas?
Thanks, Chris

Win 8, Win 8.1 + IE 11 Fixed Positioning Bug?
I'm dealing with wierd behavior of IE 11 on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. I'm fixing position of element inside fixed positioned element. And it's rendering weird. It's in right place when I inspect it with dev tools, but visually its completly in different place. I found out that if I temporarily disable position rule of parent element and then enable it again, the child element renders correctly after that. IE 11 on Win 7 doesn't have this problem.
I created pen on codepen. But when I checked it in IE, revealed that IE doesn't work well with codepen (I tried browse different pens of other people in IE on different machines and it failed everytime). So I don't know how to show you my problem. Anyway here's the pen: http://codepen.io/SovietSam/pen/Abkvu

Set Internet Explorer as Default Browser in Group Policy - Internet Explorer Maintenace no longer available
Our client systems using Internet Explorer 10 and 11 need to have their Internet Explorer browser set to the Default Browser by Group Policy. There is the eHow article, www ehow.com/how_6356764_make-ie-default-browser-gpo.html [please note that I had to take out the . on the www to keep the link from being blocked in this post ] , but this only applies up to Internet Explorer 9. Internet Explorer 10 and 11 deprecated the IEM utility ( and still asking why, why, why ). So, the eHow article is no longer the solution.
Anybody know of a another way? Even if it is a registry modification - push via Group Policy solution ( like the Enable All Cookies capability is now )....... ?
touch first controls in webbrowser control
Hi,
We are building MFC app using webbrowser control (CHtmlView) to display html pages. Unfortunately when using this app on touch device with Win8.1 + IE11, no touch features are available. By touch features I mean these: http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Browser/TouchFirstControls/Default.html. Of course when displaying the same page in standalone IE11 touch features are working very well...
Is it possible to turn it on somehow, either in html or in c++?
Thank you
Textbox Cursor Problem in Windows 7 - IE11

Geolocation wrong in IE9 but not other browsers
Hello,
I have noticed that apon using the Geolocation test on the test drive site, that my location according to Internet Explorer 9 is off. I don't just mean off, I mean WAY off. It has me down in Durham, England when in fact it should be in Scotland.
http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/HTML5/Geolocation/Default.html
Apon using it in Google Chrome it gets my location to the house. Quite litterly, but its way off in IE9. I know there is something called "default location" or something but I never set anything up involving that so I doubt that comes into play.
Whats going on ?
Thanks

Two IEs?
I have Win 8.1 and I ran a registry cleaner that was suggested by PC World (so I thought it was safe...). Now the familiar IE comes up without error, but doesn't attempt to access the net. "Internet Options" is greyed out. I tried
removing it as a feature, then adding it back. No change. Now I suspect that I wasn't using the "feature" after all.
I'm still a desktop guy, and the link was removed from the taskbar. So, today I went to the new start page, found IE there, and started it.
This was the first time I'd seen this IE version, and I wonder if what I was using was 11 after all, as I thought it was. There is no help option showing on the inoperative IE so I see no way to find out. Using task manager I see it has the old
logo vs the new blue rectangle. I tried to uninstall the old one, but no IE program shows up there.
Meanwhile, my links go to the old dead IE. I tried to set defaults and ensured that IE is selected, but the link still goes to the old one.

Runtime Error displayed when attempting to access Forums
I've IE 9 installed on a Windows Home Premium box. When I attempt to access the Technet Forums the following is displayed
Server Error in '/Forums' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration><system.web><customErrors mode="Off"/></system.web></configuration> Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration><system.web><customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/></system.web></configuration>
I'm running IE 9 on another PC (Windows 7 Pro) and it is able to acess the Technet Forums with no problem (I'm using it to make this entry).
I've compared the settings on both browsers and they are identical. Why does IE on my Home Premium PC misbehave?
Thanks in advance.

IE 11 Stops working at sign-ins
A friend has a Windows 7 laptop that has IE 11 installed. Windows Update installed Bing Desktop and ever since then, the browser "has stopped working." This ONLY happens on sites with input forms, such as sign-in pages. They cannot log-in to anything, examples being ebay and Netflix. Online e-mail works, but only because login info is saved and not required at each visit. Other sites, which do not require input, work fine.
The Bing Desktop program has been uninstalled, IE has been fully reset and the problem hasn't been resolved. I suggested installing Chrome, but the owner doesn't want to make any such changes.
I've been googling this problem, but haven't found any exact matches. I'm thinking there's a corrupted file or registry entry, but I haven't had the time to track it down. Would an uninstall/reinstall of IE11 fix this, or is there a hotfix I can download, take over there and run?
Disable Automatic Microsoft Website signon in IE10
Like the person here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie10-windows_8/how-can-i-disable-auto-sign-in-for-internet/6501d8bb-543f-4fce-83c4-5c719ddb517f
I would like to figure out a way to disable the automatic sign in when you go to a Microsoft website like Outlook.com within IE10.
The account I am using on my Windows 8 machine for example would be : username1@outlook.com
But if I want to go to Outlook.com, and check my email for account: username2@outlook.com, as soon as I connect to the website, it automatically logs me in withusername1@outlook.com. So I have to log out, and back on as the account I want to use. Yes I could switch my Windows 8 account over to the 2nd account, but I would be in the same boat if I wanted to check mail for the first username.
Right now to avoid this problem I simply just have to use a browser other than IE, but I would like to see if there is someway to get IE10 not to automatically sign me in under my current Microsoft Account I have on Windows 8. Resetting IE settings, etc does not help. This is something Windows 8 does by default with IE10 on every machine.
