My webshop is marked as unsafe (phishing which is not true) in Microsoft Edge, if switch to IE and run Smart Screen security check it says all safe. And strangely only on one of my computers and therefore didn't bother much but also a customer complained about it today. My site is 4x4offroad.se
Anyone experienced this before and have a solution?
Is there a way to check why a site is marked as unsafe by smartscreen?
I use the following Powershell code to configure the IE Home Pages:
## Set Internet Explorer Home Pages in registry Write-Verbose "Setting Internet Explorer Home Pages" $HPKey = "HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\main" $URL1 = "http://www.williamblair.com" $URL2 = "http://www.wbremote.com" Start-Process iexplore.exe Stop-Process -ProcessName iexplore Set-ItemProperty -Path $HPKey -Name "Start Page" -Value $URL1 Set-ItemProperty -Path $HPKey -Name "Secondary Start Pages" -Value $URL2
Everything gets set correctly, but when i first start IE, I get extra tabs that open up with strange Chinese characters in them in addition to the home pages I select.
Anyone have any ideas why this happens?

Dear Sir/Ma'am
I face an issue in internet explorer when i was open link in a new tab the has been blank nothing was displayed
I just installed IE9 (public release), and I'm seeing a pop-up at the bottom of the browser window that states:
"The 'Virtual Storage Mount Notification' add-on from 'EldoS Corporation' is ready for use."
Does anyone know what this is exactly?
This is our situation:
OS: Windows 10 Build 1803
Domain Controllers: Window 2008
We are trying to set the following key to the value of 3:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\4\1A10
We are also setting IE settings via preferences.
We find that no matter what order we apply the registry key, it always gets overwritten.
Here s a prcocmon capture
Using the display XML option of the Internet Explorer preferences I found that the registry is being set within the preference to 1.
I have tried exporting the GPO as a backup, editing it to change that reg key to 3, and re-importing it but every time i re-import it, it changes back.
Does any one have any suggestions on how to get around this please or how to fix this?
I am connected to VPN but when I try and connect to my home internet it keeps saying no internet connection even though there is full internet
I have seen this question posted but no good answer. I have a Excel 2016 generated web page (.mht) and an Excel workbook all stored on a SharePoint 2016 site. I have generated .png's on one of the Excel worksheets in the workbook and published that page only as an .mht file.
I need to be able to insert a hyperlink on the .mht page that corresponds to a specific tab (worksheet) in the workbook. When I create a hyperlink in Excel it will only open to the last page viewed and ignores the syntax to open to the specified sheet.
Does opening a link to a specified Excel tab work from the browser to an Office application such as Excel.
We had previously used a group policy preference to set the following registry value, which allows the opening of CHM or Windows Help files from network paths. We also place the network paths in the Local Intranet zone in IE, although it should automatically detect it as local anyway.
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions\MaxAllowedZone (DWORD) = 1
This works perfectly for all of our users, until we install KB4103727. After this we get a, "Can't reach this page error" from our CHM files.
I double checked the registry and the Local Intranet zone in IE and everything looks like it should.
I have just come across a very odd problem...
We are talking Windows 10 and we are talking IE11...
Many of my customers still use IE11 under Windows 10. On Friday my customer said that she could no longer use IE11..
I checked her PC and sure enough it wouldn't work.. On further inspection I noticed that the iexplorer.exe file had physically disappeared from the users machine... I could see the directory C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ and I could see the other files and directories under there but iexplorer.exe was gone...!!
I tried going in to Add / Remove Features but it would not allow me to install it.... I tried everything to get it back but I just could not put it back, I even copied the file from another Windows 10 PC but it still would not run...
After hours of trying to get it to work I just gave up and did a re-install of the O/S leaving all the files and programs where they were.. This didn't work first time, but second time I ran it we were back to where we were... All very odd..., the machine has no viruses or malware but the iexplorer.exe file just disappeared..
I thought this was a one off, but I have just seen it on another Windows 10 machine.. It was there two hours ago, but the file iexplorer.exe has just gone!.. Again, I tried to put it back via Add / Remove Features and there was no option whatsoever in there to add IE11 as a feature?.
This time I did a System Restore to get it back...
Is the Microsoft removing the software..?
I had a very expensive self built laptop with everything integrated as eXtensible, my mouse pad was even custom. and my neighbor owen ingram orchestrated to steal my laptop. It happened on Oct 31, between 6-9pm. I would like to look at satalite images of my house or video on this date and time. Anyone know of a server or where I could go, I am willing to pay for the images or video. I need my laptop back, desperately
Also is there any way I can track the laptop via Bluetooth, wireless network, or GPS or any other means? I would appreciate help on this topic. This episode in my life has been the single most pathetic move that anyone had done to me, in my life.
How sad to be this man.

IE is having a problem opening links that is placed within most businesses web pages that I open. An error is generated and it says: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."
When I open a new web page, I am able to open about three to four links and then the error displays again. One of the site that I have to visit and the error is stopping me from visiting it is: "Verizon.com" the first page is opened but I cannot open any of their links that is within the first pages.
Could someone kindly send me an e-mail explaining what I need to do to correct this problem; or would it be something that MS will take care from the back end? You can contact me at:amy_ran40@yahoo.com or call 301-445-1041.
I am using Windows 2000, Vista, and 7, with Internet explorer 9, and 10.
Thanks for your assistance.
