We have IE 11, Report Server is running on Server 2012 R2. Below javascirpt runs fine on Firefox, for showing a sup-report as a popup window, but not working on IE. Tried compatibility mode; not working either. The issue is that nothing showing when

If you look, you will see that the log exists in Windows 10, and at least on the machine I am on, the properties say enabled (although that is greyed out and cannot be altered). The way I see it there are a couple of possibilities here:
1) Logging is a relic that doesn't actually work and for whatever reason was never removed from the code tree.
2) Logging is not enabled despite what the properties sheet says.
3) Logging is enabled, but I have no way to verify it because it will not log any events.
Please help me (and a bunch of other poor souls who have asked this question on multiple forums) figure this out.

I have finally finished writing a pac file, however, it does not work with Internet Explorer. Chrome and Firefox works fine. I have already cleared the cache, set AutoConfigURL registry key to use the pathway to the pac file, EnableUtoproxyResutCache has been set to 0, and ProxyServer registry key has been set to the correct proxy server.
Also under group policy Management Editor>under user configuration>preferences>control panel setting>internet explorer, I have create internet settings to use the proxy.pac file.
any other option that I need to set it in IE11, for the proxy.pac file to take effect.

Would like to understand what this IE parameter is used for. Have an application that used to work (with or without) this parameter being enabled, but all of a sudden, it's not working anymore.
Is this linked to provider software like java, etc.… could it be the way the Web application is coded ?
What is the advantage of using or not this feature ?
Trying to find root cause of what could have changed that is causing to fail in IE.

I try to log in on my NetworkVideoRecorer IP adres. It was no problem before, but now I get a Prompt Message 'login failed, mac limited. It's all in InternetExplorer 11 because the support of activeX. I reset the IE 11 already. I hope someone has the solution.

I am having to install IE 11 on 300 remote systems. My ONLY option to do so is via a batch script as the systems are very locked down (so please don't tell me all the other ways I should install it). These systems are Windows 7, 32-bit (Service
Pack 1) and the download I have for them is EIE11_EN-US_MCM_WIN7.EXE. As per the /? option, a /Q should be a "quiet" install, but it does NOT do a quiet install - it requires user interface. I need a switch that will install this file
silently and without any user interaction as this update will take place overnight at 3:30am on these systems. Unless someone knows of another IE 11 install file that will work with these operating systems AND have a silent switch?

We have a problem at one of our new locations with the Edge Browser when using SSL Forward Proxy (Palo Alto Firewall).
The problem is as following: When we activate the SSL Forward Proxy, the Edge browser takes very long and sometimes even disconnects when trying to open a normal webpage over TLSv2. Chrome, Mozilla & Internet explorer are OK. Certificates are also trusted and there are no GPO rules for the Edge browser.
I made a packet capture and noticed following: The server key exchange packet comes in, and then the client takes a long time to respond with the client key exchange (~10seconds). So there seems to be a problem there.
I know that this is not a network forum, but did any of you have the same problem with the Edge Browser? Or anything similar?

I am trying to setup IE11 via group policy and have configured a start page and a Secondary home page.
However when IE11 is loaded, only the first home page tab appears, if I then click on the "Home" button in Internet Explorer, the Secondary page tab then appears.
How can I get both tabs to appear when IE starts?
I thought it might be the "Open only the first home page when Internet Explorer starts" option under Settings/Tabs that was causing the issue, but it's unchecked...
Does anyone know what else could be causing this?

I can't believe this but ie11 doesn't have a clue whether or not a page is already bookmarked. Which means that unless I have the memory of an elephant, which I don't, over time I'm likely to bookmark same pages again and again!
What gives, anyone?!
Grateful if someone can point to a solution, except switching browser, of course ;-)
