100% disk usage in IE11 when opening websites
The last couple of days, the disk usage in task manager goes all the way up to 100% when opening websites in IE11.
This lasts from anything from 10 to 40 seconds, after which disk usage goes down to less than 10%, untill I want to visit another side or scroll through a page.
CPU and memory usage are not effected.
I have already reset internet explorer settings to default, but with no result.
The problem doesn't occur in other browsers like Edge, Firefox or Tor.

My laptop is an older model Acer with a Core 2 Duo T7300 processor, 3 GB RAM, Geforce 8600m GT 512MB and running Windows 10 Pro 32-bit.
Other programs and games work fine.

Browsing History Not Being Recorded
I am having a problem with my Internet Explorer 9
Something is wrong with the browsing history. A few days ago, it suddenly stopped recording the sites I have visited and it only records the documents I have opened up through Computer
I do not have InPrivate Browsing on, I did not check the option for Delete Browsing History on Exit, I did not click the Delete button to delete my browsing history, and I did not change any settings. All that happened was that I was browsing websites and the Browsing History function was working like normal, and then all of a sudden on Wednesday, it stops recording my websites and only records the Microsoft Word documents I have opened up that day
I am not sure if the Temporary Internet Files Folder is full, but I have never had a problem with it in the past and the storage space is in the recommended range.
I have not made any changes to any of the setting at all.
I could really use some help on this because it is really bothering me

IE11 : Intranet zone not detected automatically
Hi,
I am running IE 11 on a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 server, which is part of a domain.
When accessing sites from the internal network, I get a blank page. I noticed that it was due to the fact that these sites are not in the "Local intranet" zone, and when I add them manually it works.
In Internet Options > Security > Local intranet, when I click on "Sites", I directly have the window with the advanced configuration, where I have to manually define a list of websites. I do not see the window with the "Automatically detect intranet network" checkbox (but I have it on other servers).
If I manually add the IP and domain with wildcards, I can access my internal sites, but I would have to do that for every user connecting to the server. I'd prefer if it was automatic, as it is on other servers.
Can you help me please ?

GPO works but does not change the registry value for IE11
Hi!
GPO works on first login to the computerbut does not change the value of: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software \ Microsoft\ Windows \ CurrentVersion\ Internet Settings\Zones \2\1,201.Tested also in IE10 butthe policy does exactly the same thing there. But Isthe user profile already on the computer it manage to change the value of the key1201.
The key value is set to be allowed for the trusted zones.
I'll hope tou understand and if it should be under Another category so put it there.

Addressed issue that prevents users from opening Internet shortcut (.URL) files withInternet Explorer when Enhanced Protected Mode is enabled.
Seems to be breaking Zone 'Protected Mode', When turned Off, all websites show navigator.platform as Win32, expected Win64 for Internet and Restricted zones, expected Win32 for intranet and restricted zones.
Seems to be causing Tasks manager to show 100% disk usage When turned on.

History always is missing entries...also HATE the way it is set up! Learn something from FIREFOX will you!
I despise the history in IE, I go to it and it is always missing entries. I see that my computer seems to have saved images from PAGES WHICH I HAVE VISITED but are not showing up! THey never show up! I hate this.....why can't they just list straight down from top to bottem everyplace you have been??? Am I doing something wrong/????? So FRUSTRATING>>....I mean, it shouldn't be THIS hard? After I calm down a little, does anyone please have any suggestions of how to fix it?

error downloading prerequisite file
I used IEAk to build an IE11 package and included the 5 prerequisites for deployment with sccm 2012
on most of the clients I get this error in the IE11_main.log

Browser incompaitibility Issue
Hello,
I am working for a Software company.
We are trying to check the compaitibility of our application in Windows 10 OS.
It works in Enterprise both 32 and 64 bit versions. However for Pro it works only in 64 version not in 32.
Upon checking the settings it looks all same. Any help on this ASAP please.

How to append the User Agent String in IE11
We use "Internet Explorer maintenance" GPO to append the standard User Agent String for IE9 with "ADFSIntAuth". "Internet Explorer maintenance" is deprecated and will not work anymore for IE11 and later.
Now we want to move to IE11 and I can't find a solution to append the User Agent String. With GPO this isn't possible anymore (Why Microsoft?). And the registry keys I've tested won't do the job. I've tested

OneDrive - Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2
Whether I share a OneDrive link from Home OneDrive or Business OneDrive the users continually receive the following error:

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to OneDrive . com again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.
And we have followed all the steps given by MS online advice and nothing resolves the issue? Can any one help?

How to get rid of noad steep tv virus?
I have
ads playing in the background of my PC. In the task manager there is a process named noad steep tv. If I try to end it, it just reappears after a few minutes. My antivirus doesn’t find anything. Should I use another one? I have Avast free now.

IE11 hanging at first screen
IE11 has suddenly stopped working at the first screen. When I call it up, I have 5 sites in my Home Page preferences. The tabs appear for each of these, together with the relevant first screen for each, but I can go nowhere from there ! In fact, the whole program is locked up and if I attempt to close IE11 down, the message appears asking if I want to close just the current tab or all tabs. The only way I can then close it is to use Task Manager to force a closure.
I've switched to using Edge, but have just learnt that Edge does not support add-ons like RoboForm, which I use to store and arrange my passwords.
I've checked that all my Microsoft updates are current.
Any advice, please, on how I can get IE11 working properly.

In our environment (intranet) we have a website portal that requires http certificate client authentication.
Subsequently the selection of the right cert from the store, the web service read the FQDN from the certificate's subject and
based on that permit the access to the portal.
Now, we can deploy the certificate on the machine with autoenrollment, based on our PKI (Window Server 2012 AD CS).
The problem is that IE (or any other internet browser) read only from the user keystore (LocalMachine\My) while
the right certificate is on the computer keystore (CurrentUser\My).
How can I figure out this situation?
If I export the certificate from the machine keystore and next import to the user keystore everything works fine but
I don't want mark the key as exportable in cert template and, however, this would make everything more complicated.
I appreciate any suggestions to accomplish that

Disable the ability to Bypass Certificate Error (Self Signed, Expired, Etc..)
Looking for the ability to block websites with invalid certificates. There is a GPO setting that by default is enabled to not allow the ability to bypass a certificate error for revoked certificates. However, this does not work with Expired Certs, Server Name mismatches, etc...
Wondering if there is a setting that we can set (via Registry, File, or GPO) to add this additional behavior?

IE11 on Windows 10 won't open Favorites when Favorites are redirected and Enhanced Protected Mode is enabled
When you click on a Favorite in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 (1607), IE only opens a blank page.
We could narrow that problem down - it apparently only occurs if Favorites are redirected to a file share and Enhanced Protected Mode ist enabled.
It works fine in IE11 on Windows 7 though using the same configuration (redirected Favorites + Enhanced Protected Mode).
