Hi,

I'm currently have the issue, that mainly PDF files are handled different ways on each website.

First example: I open a PDF file in our document management system (Intranet), I only can choose to save
the file. If I open the catering menu pdf (Intranet), it opens directly in the IE11.

Seconde example: I search google for any PDF (i.e. http://www.orimi.com/pdf-test.pdf), it opens within the IE11.
If I open Outlook Webaccess, I only can download the file.

In the past with IE 10, I have been asked to open or to save the file.

Any idea what happened here? IE 11 is configured through GPO.

When I go into Internet Explorer, the login information or screen information is about the size of a postage stamp.  When I go to an email page, the list of emails in my Inbox is displayed on about 10% of the screen, making it impossible to view anything. If I go to a website with a graphic homepage, the graphic is full size but the login box is again the size of a stamp.  How do I get the text size back?

Hi all,

I have a problem with the resolution of a case that I will explain below.

In our environment (intranet) we have a website portal that requires http certificate client authentication. 
Subsequently the selection of the right cert from the store, the web service read the FQDN from the certificate's subject and 
based on that permit the access to the portal.

Now, we can deploy the certificate on the machine with autoenrollment, based on our PKI (Window Server 2012 AD CS).  
The problem is that IE (or any other internet browser) read only from the user keystore (LocalMachine\My) while 
the right certificate is on the computer keystore (CurrentUser\My).
How can I figure out this situation?
If I export the certificate from the machine keystore and next import to the user keystore everything works fine but 
I don't want mark the key as exportable in cert template and, however, this would make everything more complicated.

I appreciate any suggestions to accomplish that

Hey guys,

we're running a social project in Dresden, Germany. This platform www.afeefa.de supports migrants and civil engagement. It has a very bad performance on IE browsers (even Edge) compared to Chrome and Firefox. There is no complex framework behind it except qooxdoo.org for modular coding and of course jQuery.

Can somebody give us a quick hint where to have a deeper look at the code?

I need a table or some other resource I can use to cross walk an IE version with its' update version and related KB number. Does such a resource exist?

I've been doing a lot of searching for something like this, but so far I've come up empty.

Hello,

I am working for a Software company.

We are trying to check the compaitibility of our application in Windows 10 OS.

It works in Enterprise both  32 and 64 bit versions. However for Pro it works only in 64 version not in 32. 

Upon checking the settings it looks all same. Any help on this ASAP please.

I used IEAk to build an IE11 package and included the 5 prerequisites for deployment with sccm 2012

on most of the clients I get this error in the IE11_main.log

I have a strange issue where domain attached Win 8/10 computers using desktop IE11 with enhanced protected mode enable are unable to browse internet zone pages when connected via SSTP via our 2012 rras server.

The issue only occurs in this specific scenario.

Windows 7 machines do not have this issue, the only significant difference between our Windows 7 machines and Windows 8/10 ones are that the 7 machines are 32bit whereas the 8/10 machines are 64bit.

Other than turning off EPM which is not an option for us the only other way of getting browsing to work in this scenario is to use a web proxy on the vpn connection but again this is not a solution I wish to rollout across the organisation.

I'm not able to run Wireshark as it wont see the VPN connection so wonder if anyone else has experienced this or a similar issue and might be able to shed some light on it?

I have windows 8 64 bit.  Can't find Internet Explorer software that will successfully install, to update my currently installed Internet Explorer 10.  Attempted 11.

Hi

Out of 2 Domain controllers in one domain abc ,  one domain controller  has access to a  website hosted in IIS server joined in domain xyz through Internet explorer. These domains exist in 2 different forests..

But when the same website is being accessed by the 2nd Domain controller with the same Domain Admin credentials, I am getting this error .

Anybody please provide suggestions to resolve the issue

I'm experiencing some users not being able to access my site, this time for a phishing warning. In the past it's been Malware (when a test has proven that no malware is present). I believe this to be a false reading as my site is legitimate, and the last time this occurred, a Bing employee couldn't replicate the results, under any conditions:

We are providing a download link for downloading a simple excel file. If we click 'Open', the file opens in protected view. Now there is no way we can enable editing -> 'We can't connect to xy.cz'. The download link is generated dynamically, so it does not exist anymore.

If we save the file locally first, it works. It seems, like the file isn't fully downloaded if you click 'Open' in IE.

Is there a way to configure this either in IE or Excel?

I lost the messages in the inbox that are older than 4 days. There is no apparent way to scroll back beyond the date to retrieve them. I know they are there as I mirror the msn messages to my mac account.

hello i recently got need for speed underground for my pc and it all installed fine but it wont launch or even give me a error code but when i did a troubleshoot thing i got this. I tried a whole other computer and it did the same thing my os is windows 7 Home edition

Dear Team,

Need your assistance, how to block site (login pages), which redirects to SSO.

Troubleshooting steps done by me still facing same error.1

1) Checked proxy setting & unchecked proxies

2) Cleared all browser history

3) Added the site under trusted site

4) Reset browser

5) Check with all different versions of IE(64/32)

Need a valid solution & RCA for the same.

Microsoft Edge will close as soon as I open it.

Sorry I couldn't find the Edge option on the forum list.

What happens is I click on the Edge icon on the toolbar and it closes as soon as the window opens.

What could be the problem?
