Event ID 1026 ,Event ID 1049 and Event ID 1059

I have hundreds of these errors for event id's 1026,1049 and 1059, I have searched and cannot find anything remotely associated with these errors or the cause of them:

The description for Event ID 1026 from source Internet Explorer cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

There all have the same information and event log online help does not "help" , any ideas?

IE 11 session lost problem

Good morning

I'm building a website using JSP.
Recently I lost session in IE11 version of Windows 10 (1607)
The site is being logged out.

It's been around since the last Windows 10 1607 (Redstone)
What parts should I check?

Thank you for your help.

Disable IE-10 from closing all my tabs!

So...someone else asked this question and the response was in essence how to reopen a prior session. That's not the question

Upon installation, if you have more than one tab open in IE, the system will inquire if you want to "close all tabs?" when you close out of IE. There is a "never ask me again" checkbox that pops up. Apparently, I checked that box and now if Explorer closes, I don't get a chance to stop it before it shuts down ALL my tabs.  How do I reinstate that checkbox pop-up window so I can say "No" and only close a single tab if I inadvertently hit the "X" in the top left corner of the session window?

Hi Team,

I have an application deployed on Tomcat. In this application, we have folders and other lists to access but when I am trying to expanding Folder hierarchy it never comes.

While double click on the folder, it throws error message in console mode > IE developer tools.

Script7002: XmlHttpRequest : Network error , No data is available for requested resource.

Strange thing is same workflow is working fine from Chrome and Mozilla FF.

Please help me on this issue.

IE 11 - Opening download links in new tab instead of the program assigned

Download links are attempting to open new tabs instead of opening in the assigned program.

Sure wish the folder options advanced menu was still in Windows 10 so i could micromanagement file extension behavior.

Occurring across multiple systems but this is the test PC:

OS Name:                   Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (x64)
OS Version:                10.0.10586 N/A Build 10586

Hotfix(s):                 8 Hotfix(s) Installed.
                           [01]: KB2693643
                           [02]: KB3139907
                           [03]: KB3140768
                           [04]: KB3142588

                           [07]: KB3173428
                           [08]: KB3181403

Already Tried:

Opening ie11 w/o add-ins, ie11 in compatibility mode, yes the same links work in firefox, yes the same links work in chrome, removed ie11 feature restarted and enabled ie11 feature (essentially uninstall & reinstall).

Things i wont do:

This is happening across multiple systems so the old, "hate to say it but you might have to reinstall windows" answer won't work. :)

HTTPS: GET result "aborted" on mapping application on IE11

I developed a little mapping plattform showing aerial images. This application loads image tiles from another url path on the same domain. All comunication is secure via HTTPS / SSL.

E.g.:

Application: https://somehostname/schraegluftbilder/schraegluftbilder.html

Image tiles: https://somehostname/schraegluftbilder_2gj5kk91p0/Aktuell/[filename].jpg

(Sorry, i can't give you the actual url, because this is only accesible in our company intranet)

Internet Explorer 11 has Problems doing this, no image tile can be loaded, F12 DevTools say that the HTTPS GET Request is status "aborted". If i switch the debug mode (compability) from "Edge" to "10" or "9" everthing works fine.

Another thing we testet: If i copy the url from which the image is supposed to be loaded and paste this in a new browser tab, the image appears like it should.

Is there any new security policy which forbids ie11 to load files from another subdirectory (in our case fromschraegluftbilder_2gj5kk91p0 to schraegluftbilder)?

Internet Explorer spelling check no longer working in Windows 10

$

I have received some complaints that the spelling check for Windows 10 does not work within most webforms and/or internal websites. While I am typing this message I can see squigly lines for nearly each word since my native language is Dutch and this message is in English. This same effect does not work for all forms or fields. Sometimes it will give a squigly line but it won't offer any alternative options. It looks lik the type of field detemines if the spelling check works or not.

In the past we had an add-in for Internet Explorer called Spelling Check which was a lot more reliable. Since it is no longer available we don't know how to offer the same functionality for all forms and websites.

Please let me know if there is anything that can be done to improve this.

The current spelling check built into Windows 10 itself only seems to check certain field types. For example the field I am typing in right now seems to be working just fine, highlighting errors and making suggestions. Other websites however this feature does not seem to work. It looks like there is a differentiation between field types.

Some of our web applications/sites no longer have a spelling check now which is a hassle for our users. Are there any known restrictions to the field types that are checked?

I have also posted this question in the Windows 10 forum because I am unsure if this should be something posted there since the issue is with the new Windows 10 spelling check however it is related to this browser. I have this exact same issue with Edge however so I doubt it is specifically related to the browser.

Is there any way to get the spelling check add-on for Windows 10 back?

---------

The problem isn't going to be resolved using a roll back to a previous version. This problem is applicable to all our users running Windows 10. It looks to me there are two possible solutions but I will need help with both of them:

1. Microsoft adjusts the built in spelling check for Windows 10 so it checks every form and website and not just those using SharePoint/whatever technology it is that triggers the spelling check.

2. We manually add the add-in for Internet Explorer 11 (Spell check) and use that once more for all websites. However since this normally was added to Internet Explorer automatically I have no idea where to download it.

We really need a quick solution for this, nearly a 1000 users are having this issue right now and if we can simply resolve it by distributing a simple add-in that would definetly be the desired solution.

The thread you suggested only troubleshoots a situation with Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 where the add-in has vanished for some reason. The issue I am describing is the add-in never being added at all because since Windows 8(.1) the built in spelling check for Windows itself should replace that of Internet Explorer. Sadly the built in Windows spelling check doesn't seem to work for each website like the Internet Explorer add-in used to do.

So if someone can point me in the right direction where to download the old add-in and it works in combination with Windows 10 my problems will be resolved. If this add-in is no longer available for download then the only solution is to make the Windows spelling check compatible with ALL and EVERY form and website like the add-in used to be.

I hope this describes the issue properly because looking on the forums both here and on technet it looks like a lot of people are running into the same issue.

---------

Sorry for the long wall of text but I want to explain this as thoroughly as possible and prevent questions such as "is your Windows up to date" or "have you added the correct language packs".

Thanks up front!

Our product has been integrated with Oracle forms application. Recently we upgraded to IE11. We are not able to connect to the application now. It works in lower versions of IE, and chrome and firefox. In the console this is the message that pops up,

DOM7011: The code on this page disabled back and forward caching.

Do we have any idea about this issue or any ways of debugging the issue.

Dear All,

I am facing issue with Microsoft Edge, not able to open any internet website showing below error....

Hmm, we can't reach this page.

Try this

<id id="dnserror_unavailable_righturl" style="font-size:0.75em;line-height:1.5;">Make sure you’ve got the right web address:</id> http://google.co.in

If I am using other browser like IE 11 or Google Chrome internet is perfectly working fine, So there is not any issue related with Internet connection or network adapter.

I have also reset Microsoft edge browser with below command run under powershell....

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$

IE11 resets local intranet registry keys on launch

$

We have deployed IE11 via IEAK and have a proxy set which currently set to return direct for all sites. This means IE is seeing all external sites in the intranet zone due to the setting 'include all sites that bypass the proxy server' being enabled. If I manually untick this then everything works as all external sites are in the internet zone and the setting is permanent.

However, I need to deploy this setting site wide and the group policy "Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/Security Page - Intranet Sites: Include all sites that bypass the proxy server" (both computer and user) set to disable only greys out the box unticked but does not actually move external sites into the internet zone.

I've tried using GPP to delete the registry key HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Proxybypass which does work but as soon as I re-launch IE the setting is written back with the value 1 and it is back in the wrong state again.

Using process monitor I can see it is iexplore.exe that sets this key back to 1 on launch and when I manually untick the box all it does it delete the Proxybypass key and nothing else. Has anyone seen this before and managed to work around it?  It seems very similar to https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/3bc5a7ca-ccad-4207-96a4-407765205c20/starting-ie8-changes-zonemap-settings-second-thread?forum=ieitprocurrentver

Trusted Sites List

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but as its related to IE I am putting this here

What difference does it make whether or not a website is added to the trusted Sites list. The reason I ask is some of the icons on a website do not show up when not in the trusted sites list and I cannot figure out which setting I can change to make this work without adding this to the trusted sites list.

Internet Explorer 11 - Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working

On Windows 8.1 x64

With Norton Security Installed

This seems to have begun after applying my latest installation of Windows Updates.

(I have not tried a System Restore for this yet. I wouldn't want to play catch-up, although I would if I had to.)

When I go to ebay.com and click to Sign-In, The Web Browser Stops and Reports:

We were unable to return you to ebay.com.

Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears that the website continues to have a problem.

What you can do:

Go to your home page
Try to return to ebay.com

I have followed the general instructions from Microsoft Support and have applied the suggested fixes, but I can't get this to clear up. When I use a 3rd Party Browser (Chrome), I have no problem logging on or signing in. Two other websites I use frequently also act like this. One is a bank. I only tried Chrome to see what would happen. I only installed Chrome at the suggestion of an Apple Representative that I was on the phone with when I had trouble changing the Password associated with my Apple ID. She was right. Chrome worked for that issue. But I don't use Chrome on a regular basis at all.

I don't know how to decipher the problem signature. Does someone have any ideas, please? Thanks.
