Hi there,

We are having a problem that all computers on our domain, when made to go full screen watching a video primarily on Youtube; giving us the 'An error has occurred' problem. I've been testing and it doesn't seem to be only full screen. If i play normal (not fullscreen) then make the window bigger on my 1080 monitor it will get to a certain size and then give me this error. It appears that i can only go to 1024 x 768 full screen anything else and it errors.

PCs are dell optiplex 3020.

All up to date updates

Video drivers up to date (on board).

Any ideas guys?

Since going to the Anniversary IE I have not been able to download executable files despite Internet Option security options setup to allow downloads. See the attached screenshots. How can I fix this?

Not being able to download files is killing me. I need fixes and upgrades

Issue:

After installing KB3185330 or KB3197868, Internet Explorer intermittently hangs with the classic "Not Responding" error and you need to end task all instances of IE to get it working again.  There seems to be a connection between multiple tabs being open and IE crashing and I have not reproduced the issue running IE 11 with a single tab open.

Resolution:

In all cases, removing either KB3185330 (if the November Rollup has not yet been installed) or KB3197868 resolved the issue.

The obvious problem is both are critical updates so they will simply be installed again during standard update cycles.  And since this issue exists in BOTH the October Rollup and the November Rollup, manually excluding these updates will likely accomplish little as the rollups are inclusive so the December (or whatever month it is released in) will reintroduce the issue.

Note:

I own an IT consulting firm and have now seen this at 10 totally unrelated sites.  I have also seen plenty of other people complaining about it on the Web but there has been no answer from Microsoft.  I have completed extensive testing at these sites and the Rollups are 100% the cause of the issue.

Can anyone from Microsoft acknowledge this is a known issue and provide feedback on when it will be resolved?

And please, no "update your drivers", "disable add-ons", "start in safe mode", etc. checklist responses.

Hi Team,

We are getting "Web Page Blocked" Error while accessing any site in IE however the same site we are able to access it from Chrome. We are using proxy pac to access the Internet. IE version is 11. We have tried re-installing the IE but no luck.

Please help us on this issue.

Hi experts,

Is it possible to hide the above message that appears when IE starts and the add-ons have been disabled by group policy?

I am attempting to configure a custom locked-down setup, but this message is giving my OCD a swift kick in the gentleman's region!  I have searched through the polices and can find no way of disabling the notification.

One limitation of any possible solution is that it will either need to be configured on a per user basis, or one that is reversible upon logout.

Hello Technet!

  I am currently experiencing a problem with Internet Explorer 11 CO (Corporate Administrator) version showed up in my environment.   I am now trying to do a clean up of this version but cannot find anyway to tell remotely which computers have this version and which computers do not.  We have been using SCCM 2012 for the reporting side but unfortunately we have not been able to get it to pull out the details down to that level.  Does anyone have know of any way to identify this version of IE over another remotely?  (registry, system folder, etc..) and/or does anyone know of a way to uninstall this version of IE or change it back to the default version?

What could be the reason for onresize event happening over and over again. This happens only in Internet explorer 11, the issue is not seen in internet explorer 9.

Hi All,

Is there any editions like Hybrid ?

I wanted to know what are the different unique official IE editions are there.

As far as I'm concerned there are 32-bit & 64-bit.

Because when we run IE at a time 2 different processes displaying under Task Manager.

 On some Windows-10/7 machines it's showing: iexplore.exe

 On some other machines it's showing both: iexplore.exe and iexplore.exe *32

Purpose:

I do Compatibility Testing of Windows-10/Office Professional Plus 2016/Office Professional Plus 2013/ IE-10/11 with my Company Software. Where we have to validate the basically the Excel Add-ins related pages and data across these Add-in pages. These Excel files has to support both Web application as well as Desktop application.

For Office 2013 everything looks fine. But for Office 2016 there are several UI controls/Text rendering issues.

So I have a big question here.

Does IE-10/11 (32/64) fully supported to Windows-10/Office Professional Plus 2016/Office Professional Plus 2013 ?

If yes, Which IE edition would be best one for above combinations ?

I would request to provide a set of Combination Matrix to get more information on Compatibility checklist.

Not sure what happened, but when I go into the F12 debugger now, I do not see any source code on the Console or Debugger tabs.  On the Debugger tab, I see a top pane for Watches (with nothing in it) and a bottom pane with Call stack/Breakpoints. That's it. The source pane used to be on the left side, but now it's gone...

How do I get back to being able to view source? Can I reset the debugger to defaults?

Dear All,

I had used IEAK 10 to deploy Internet explorer 10 to all the desktops in our company. During the process of making an MSI for IE10, I had mistakenly imported the settings from my desktop which included some persoanal favourits and my private VPN Connection. I did not notice it initially and deployed the same to all the desktops.

Now I have the following issues.

1. All the desktops with existing and any new user profiles, displays my VPN Connection.
2. All the trusted sites also has my websites which I had imported in to the trusted sites zone.

Can you please suggest ways by which atleast I can get rid of the VPN Settings in the desktops.

I had tried deleting the RASPHONE.Pbk from my profile but it seems to create the same again for the new user. I look forward for your valuable help in this regard.

Your Email system has now become a complete JOKE.

Although I sent an email to a known source, it came back to me as Undeliverable.

What gives?

That was an email that I have sent to the source many times.

Now, it came back to me thru the Mailer Daemon in Chinese.

I never sent it that way.  It should have gone thru.

What is happening with Microsoft Email?

If you don't want me to send any more, then Tell Me So.

Otherwise, keep your hands off of my email.  It is Personal.

And don't tell me that you have complete control.

This is NOT YOUR SYSTEM, It is Mine.

And, You do not control the Email any more than you Control the MAIL.

So, if you do not keep your hands off of the email,
then I will send complaints to the right authorities.
