I solve a problem by deleting user profile and creating a new profile, PC included in domain.
How can i solve this problem by using regedit? Thanks.
I am having a problem with IE 11 on certain websites that use scripting. The main one is ADP's workforce now (https://workforcenow.adp.com). When it works as expected the site takes 3-5 seconds from the time you click on the login link to when it displays the portal. When it doesn't work, it takes about 16 seconds. If the initial page load was the only area it was slow we could live with it probably but its slow on scripted events throughout the site. Things like in the timecard area when somebody punches in a schedule it doesn't display and if they put it in again and come back it has duplicated the schedule by finally updating and showing up properly.
We are a one browser company and IE is it for us for a couple of reasons. I did test it with chrome however and it doesn't have the issues that IE does.
I am pretty sure its something to do with a group policy setting but I can't be sure exactly which. We have policies in an GPO for IE 8-9 and another for IE10 and I have duplicated those settings over into an IE11 type GPO as they are handled differently in group policy for IE11. If a user hasn't ever logged into a machine and they have the standard OLD policy, they get the settings and site performance is slow. If I move them to the NEW GPO with the duplicated settings its fast, as long as they haven't logged into the machine before. If they have logged into a machine and had the old settings its not fixed unless I delete the profile out and sign them back in as if they were logging in for the first time.
The way I see it I have two options:
1) Disable the OLD policy and delete the profiles for everybody, which is not ideal at all.
2) Find the setting in IE that is slowing things down and revert it so that everybody gets the new change and the tattoo'd setting is reversed.
Any ideas? Site is in the trusted sites zone.
If its worth doing, its worth doing right. Just try getting the CFO to pay for that though...
I am looking for the IE10 download for Vista, as some websites tell me they do not support older versions of IE.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer advive please?
Thanks in advance.
I'm using Windows 7 SP1 with IE 11 and every time I right click an image on a web page, the pop-up window forces me to save the picture as "untitled.png" even though the source image was not a PNG and not named "untitled".
I tried deleting my browser history as well as my "Favorite Web Site Data", but that did no good. Any suggestions?
Sincerely,
Todd M. Taylor
Our company is using Internet Explorer 11 to transfer images from our medical records program to a PACS viewer. The integration works fine however we don't want the IE window to ever pop up or show during this process and I have not found a way to do this in the background. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated
Hi!
When using technet.com, I'm not able to see content correct in Internet Explorer or Edge.
Example: Search for a powershell command at technet.com, like "New-Mailbox"
Scroll down to "Parameters" and you will find a table with 4 columns. The "Description" column to the right doesn't show up. But when I try Google Chrome, It shows everything nice formatted. Really Microsoft?
Hello,
There's a problem across a domain network where many client machines (running Windows 7 and IE 10) are receiving the page:
Note that I am accessing gov.uk - so there is no way this is an issue with the web server (I can connect to it fine elsewhere). On the Domain Controller (running Windows Server 2012R2) - the page loads fine. I have checked the time/date on the client machines, they are OK. I have tried installing the certificates, which says "Import Successful" but makes no difference in the end.
Here is what I see on the View Certificate pages:
Any ideas here?

In my application we are using webFonts, when we launch the application for the first time all the WebFonts/Icons are showing properly. When the pop blocker error dialog comes up and user allows the pop-ups for the site, the page is reloading and the webFonts/Icons are not getting displayed. Once you close and relaunch the IE then again the webFonts/Icons are displayed properly. I am not seeing any errors in console.
Can some one help me out why it is happening and how to debug.
Thanks,
Durga
When you click on a Favorite in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 (1607), IE only opens a blank page.
We could narrow that problem down - it apparently only occurs if Favorites are redirected to a file share and Enhanced Protected Mode ist enabled.
It works fine in IE11 on Windows 7 though using the same configuration (redirected Favorites + Enhanced Protected Mode).
Hi,
Ever since the anniversary update, IE 11 (on Windows 10) often hangs and I have to end task. This happens at least every other time I open up IE 11. I've already reset my IE 11 in the advanced tab. This did not solve the issue. I then also went into control panel, turned off IE 11, reboot twice, turned back on IE 11 but still the same and still hanging. Anyone know what's going on and is there a fix?
I've searched the web and seems this problem is common as I've read a number of other posts on the web from users who are experiencing the same issue with IE 11 on Win10.
Thanks for any info and support.
How can I alter the color of the active tab in Microsoft Edge?
I want to alter this color so I can see the difference between the active and non active tabs
Hello all,
I have an issue with a client that tries opening/ saving a document in IE 11,
This has happened two days in a row now, where everything is working normally, and then all of a sudden, when he tries opening, tries saving, or saving as, nothing happens anymore. It just blocks.
After killing the process through task manager, Everything works normally again, until the next time the error happens again,
Is there a way to debug this? some useful logs, or event viewer logs that can be activated on Windows 10 / IE 11 ?
Is there maybe a KB that needs to be installed, could it be cause by a recent KB installation?
How should i proceed on this issue?
Thanks
Stefan
Hello Team,
I am sure you would have got a lot of questions related to cached files in IE, our requirement is little different.
we are looking for a way to manually add the cache files to every machine in our organization. As of now we have a group policy that makes a bat file to run in every machine. This bat file runs "start iexplore %url%" on all company URL's which we need them to be cached.
We were wondering if we can perform this in IE of one machine and transfer the required files of INetCache to other systems, so that we will be avoiding overload to our servers and also save intent.
Out initial attempt to play with INetCache files did not work, do you have any alternatives or wise suggestions for us. We are not complete aware of how IE maanges it's cache.

Harish
Sometime recently my Edge browser began an odd thing: When there was a video at the top of a page (such as a news story) the video window follows the page as I scroll down. This is extremely annoying on my laptop, but especially so on my tablet because it takes most of the window away from reading the story.
This began after one of the updates (in the last 6-8 weeks). At first I thought it may be Edge, but the same issue happens (albeit differently) in Firefox. So I am assuming it is a Win 10 "feature."
I have had my issues with Edge - most notably it simply freezing up every 3-5 minutes, but this is a significant issue that makes the browser nearly useless. I switched to Firefox for this (and other) reasons, but it is happening with it too now.
What the !~@#$%^& is this? Why does Microsoft think forcibly blocking out 90% of the screen with a video window is a good idea? And, how (or can) I stop it?
I previously had Win 7 and upgraded to 10 when it was available. After the last Win 10 update, I started getting the message 'Class not Registered' when I tried to open Win Edge. The start key does not work. When I click on Edge (tied
to my task bar) I get Class not Registered and in the top of that box is Explorer.exe. If I shut down my laptop, turning it back on, after I log in, most times I get the black screen. Occasionally I will get to the desktop and
since I had the presence of mind years ago to download Mozilla I am able to get on the internet, when I finally get to the desktop. That means I cannot shut down my laptop or I will have to go thru the gyrations of getting back my desktop (takes multiple
tries). I have read most of the help for Class not Register and most required that you use the windows key. My windows key does not work. Start does not work. Shift Restart works to 35% and then errors. Taskmaster functions do
nothing. Tried Safe Mode options and no help. System check in Safe Start indicated errors but no repair options. Win + any letter does not work. So, please understand,if you have a solution, make sure it does not require the use of the Win key and/or Start key. They do not work!
The Remove button in IE - Internet Options - Content - Certificates - Other People is greyed out. Accessing IE with admin credentials will make the Remove button available for the other certificate tabs but the not the Other People tab. I can remove the certificates through the Certificate Manager snap-in but I am unable to figure out what is removing the option from being performed in IE.
