Above is my log. I have tried all sorts of way for the past 1 week.

Performed all System updates. Unchecked IE9 and IE11 in the Programes and Features. Googled the hell out and tried all sorts of other solution but just can't seem to get it to work. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.

IE 9 Logs off other webpages upon closing

We have a PC where we launch an IE page that connects to a program from our Intranet. From within that IE page we launch another IE page that opens up. When I close the 2nd IE page it logs me off my logged on session on the first IE Page so I have to log back in the first IE page. I have tried everything and can not get this fixed. I have reset settings and nothing. I have tested this on another PC with same OS and IE version and it works fine so must be something on this specific PC but not sure what to check. Any ideas?

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but after the recent patch run by MS this week we are getting a high proportion of users unable to access internet explorer (all versions) on Windows 7 machines.

The error displayed is

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

attempt to access invalid address

This happens when trying to run Internet Explorer short cuts or iexplore.exe directly. I have had a searched around and given the number of users that with the issue I'm surprised if not found more info

Internet explorer 11 suddenly stopped working. When I click, blue circles goes round few times and nothing happens; no web page opens.

I have tried RESET; run malware program called "malwarebytes" and "ccleaner". Turned ON & OFF window features of Internet explorer.

Changing my browser to IE 11 NOT Mcrosoft Edge

I have tried to use the steps under default apps to make IE my browser. But when I hit "reset", it automatically goes back to Microsoft Edge. I have researched and every one goes back to the default app. I do not understand why it automatically changes back to Edge, it even changes back, if I try to use Google Chrome. I don't know what to try next. Please help!

hi ,

in angular js application , i used <a> tag and in this tag ng-href, href, download attributes with xlsx file content , file name as atribute value.

this tag download the file content correctly in chrome and other browser but didn't work in IE 11 browser.

Please suggest any any to do this IE 11.

Edge crashes and other issues with IE11

My Initial problem I had with Office365 was that I didn't have the option to pin apps.  If I reset IE it works ok, if I restart the PC it stops working again.  Pin apps works if I use inprivate browsing. I have disabled all add-ons and that made no difference.

I have tried with a different user and all works ok for that user, including edge.

If I delete my local profile, it creates a new one for me when I log on and all is fine for a few days until Edge stops working again and all the faults come back.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

IE11 Failing on a couple of machine

We have IE11 package created and it worked on all  but a couple of systems.

 The IE11_main.log on the systems that are failing , anyone has suggestions on what we i can do to fix the issue for these couple of machines.

Iframe not loading after installing Update KB3154070

Hi All,

We have an application that mostly deals with iframes (loads the different pages within the application on demand).

Recently, the IE browser got updated with KB3154070(Current IE Version: 11.0.9600.18314) as part of the system updates. After that update, majority of the functionality is breaking completely. It effected all the pages that use iframes. The content is not loading and resulting in a blank page. The request appears to be aborted when inspected in the network panel as shown in the below screen capture.

We have performed the following troubleshooting

  1. We made sure that all iframe tags are close properly.
  2. The src of the iframe is not empty.
  3. If we access the same page outside (without loading into iframe), it works fine. But, the problem is with only within iframe.

As a quick workaround to this problem, we have asked our users to roll back the update. But, this is not the expected solution.

Microsoft Edge - Hover Link

In Microsoft Edge, then you hover on a link in a webpage, the link is displayed in the lower left hand corner of the page. in some instances this display covers up the link itself and will not allow you to click the link.

How do I turn this off, so that the links are not displayed?

IE 11 TABS NOT WORKING

Hello,

After hours of research and trying hundreds of "fixes", I am still having the issue of blank tabs.

So, MSN.com, I click on a link and its supposed to open a new tab for that link. When it opens the tab, the tab is blank. I literally have to right click on whatever link I wish to open, click on "Copy Shortcut", open a new tab and paste it in there.

I have tried reinstalling IE11, resetting all settings back to default, I have tried System Restore, I have tried opening IE with no add-ons, etc.  I have gone through hundreds of threads and tried hundreds of "solutions" but nothing has worked.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit SP1 with IE 11.  I have performed general system maintenance, ensured all updates were installed, etc.

I'm not the type of person to ask for help but I am really stumped on this issue. So, I need help.

IE 11 - Open in new Tab Not Working

When I click on a link that should open in a new tab (or right-click and select Open in new Tab), IE11 Opens a new tab but the screen is blank, the URL is about:blank and the tab title is 'Blank Page'.

Windows 8.1 x64
Internet Explorer 11 (Desktop)

The 'Metro' version of IE 11 still works fine, it's just the Desktop version which is broken.

I've tried all the fixes listed in the similar thread, but none have helped.

IE 11 opens a blank new tab on a windows 7 64 bit computer. I have had this problem before. After much research the only thing I found to work was uninstalling 11 and reinstalling 10.  I cannot remember how I did that.  All I remember is it was a lot of work.  After a few months IE automatically updated back to 11 and the problem came back.  Is there an easier, more permanent solution?  When I click on a link that should open a new tab the address in the new tab appears to be the same as the old tab but the screen is blank.

I have config on IE11, which I want to export bookmarks, cookies, addons and *Internet Options > Advanced options*. We have few computers running IE11 and I want to set exact same config on these. Im looking for a solution program that allows me to do it.

IE 9 Error on Server not on Windows 7

So we use this program called Fuji Synapse. On a Windows 7 machine we install the client and it works fine. If we install the client we get an event 1000 Application Error when opening the program on the 3rd or 4th time. So the first 2 times it will open fine the 3rd time it will throw that error out. Everything is the same as far as the way it was installed, and the same IE version yet on a Windows 7 box the issue is not there. Any thing I should look for?
