Hi Everyone,

I am struggling to solve the problem encountered by two active directory users when the browser was upgraded to IE11 : when they go one specific page of the IE windows starts flashing.

Those two users have the problem regarless of the computer they are logged on from.

IE was uninstalled/reinstalled, the settings reset.

I would like to know if any one has an idea on where to look on the infrastructure side, as this is cleary not a client issue.

Hi,

I am having DELL brand new with windows 10, I want to use IE 9 insted of IE 11. Please let me know the process

FYI Windoes 10 comes with default IE as 11

Hi,

JPEG & Excel files are directly downloads without issues from Share Point portal. If the PPT files saved locally and it  opens correctly. It is not downloading directly from URL Directly. Refer the below error. It waits for download long time and it give memory error after some time.

PPT downloads correctly from other share points correctly.

We have a dedicated IE11 Enterprise Mode server hosting the site list xml file and it's all working nicely. If there's ever a problem with the server/connectivity etc the browser has the last version cached.

My question is where is the site list cached and is it per user or computer?

The reason I need to know is that we have a Citrix environment we are upgrading to IE11 and want to know if we cache the latest when creating the vdisk, will it be cached for all users or will they always download a new copy with all the bandwidth it will entail?

I looked around the 'Net and was not able to find the answer to this question. If I put a site in the IE11 Enterprise Mode site list used by our organization at set it to exclude=true (i.e. default/native mode), how does IE11 behave if a user has that site in their user-controlled Compatibility View list?

New problem - when logged into Hotmail and trying to send email there is an error saying publisher can't open frame.

In "pictures" a sign appears telling that windows explorer is faulty, then pictures is cancelled and the display reverts to desktop.

Running IEX8 on win XP.  The home page has been set to Google and cannot be changed.  I have explored various registry edits to no resulting change, editing "Start Page" always reverts back.  Something is preventing changes.  I am out of my depth, can someone walk me throught this please.  Re-installing and updating IEX8 has made no difference.

Hi ,

Our systems has connected to domain. IE11 having a F12 debugging problem only for particular user, it works fine for remaining users.It is showing down white blank screen.

I had restored the system to previous good configuration and I have uninstalled  the IE 11 and  Installed again.

I have Deleted Total Sub reg keys and data by renaming the internet explorer in Regedit Editor.

can u help me ?

Hi,

We have developed a website and hosted on cloud. It is accessed using https protocol. It is working fine with all the browsers. 

However, we are facing an issue with IE 11 when we delete cookies and history in IE 11. The website is not at all opening in IE. It shows waiting for reply.

Please help us as it is very urgent.

Hi All.
a technical issue I have now and it become very critical, in our organization there is about 800 PC. we have a clone image to deploy and all of the PCs with the same installation files.

to control IE , we used IE 10 Admin kit to create a customized internet explorer version. and now it become critical issue as IE now running out of day

we can't update Internet explorer from version 10 which installed by IE Admin kit to version 11 and it always give me error..

I tried to install perquisite updates to upgrade from version 10 to version 11 .. it didn't success.

I tried to install IE 11 " offlice installation" it didn't work.

I tried to have IE 11 package created by IE 11 admin kit to update IE 10 ,.. it didn't success ..

Our new Windows 10 computer doesn't allow uploading photos to Ebay.  We use a USB to upload and it loads fine with our older Windows 7 computer.  Windows 10 wants us to resize and I wouldn't even begin to know how to do so for all photos. 

Is it even possible to to unload Windows 10 on a new computer to upload version 8?

In our domain, we recently updated from IE9 to IE10. After reconfiguring the GPOs we stumbled upon a problem with the starting site. The IE automatically opens the URL http://windows.microsoft.com/de-de/internet-explorer/download-ie .

If I close the website, it reappears after resetting the IE settings. 

I would like to configure my IE-GPO to not open this website - ever. Since it already became problematic when some users updated to IE11 and we had to roll them back since it is not supported atm.

Can you please advise on how to do it?

Hello everybody.

Due to my lack of knowledge about Windows 7 Security, I used to think  I could not log in with a Domain User Profile when my pc was not physically on the domain's intranet itself , that is when the domaiin server was unreachable.  Instead, a colleague showed me I was wrong and made me log in with my domain user even on a different intranet.

The problem now is that, this way, internet Explorer 11 cannot surf anymore to whatever site , it always complains it cannot reach the page. Google Chrome instead, works perfectly. 

I realized that, by disconnecting the domain user,  and using a local user , Internet Explorer works correctly.

What' s the explaination ?

Yesterday out of the blue some old pages from my favorites list reappeared.  I deleted these in the past and now they just showed up.  When I right click on them to delete them or go to organize favorites to delete them, they delete for a few seconds, but then reappear.  I try again and again, but they just keep coming back.  The "favorites bar" in my favorites list does the same thing.  I have also gone to users/profile/favorites to try and delete them and they just come back.

I've run multiple scans with my antivirus software and spybot software, but it didn't fix it.

Anyone know how to fix this or know what the problem could be?  I am not a tech guy, just an average joe, but can get around windows decently.

hello

i've set "Enterprise mode" with a share central file xml implemented in a GPO.

I've build the xml file with the last updated "EMIESiteListManager".

60 web applications are set in the XML file and they are running as intended with the right compatibility settings.

But I have one strange behavior for one application.

for example:

I have set www.trpf.com as IE5 document mode andwww.trpf.com\srt as IE8 document mode.

the results are:

www.trpf.com\srt is rendered as IE8 but www.trpf.com is also  rendered as IE8 where it would be IE5 ?

other web apps like www.trpf.com\xdf are also rendered as IE8  ?

I have missed something ?

I recently purchased a new computer. Windows 10 and IE 11 came with it. When I use Yahoo Mail, it says I have an old version of the internet browser and forces me to use the old version of mail. It wants me to upgrade but sends me to Firefox. Yahoo is identified in the compatibility list. Any suggestions?
