Where is the Enterprise Mode site list file cached locally?
We have a dedicated IE11 Enterprise Mode server hosting the site list xml file and it's all working nicely. If there's ever a problem with the server/connectivity etc the browser has the last version cached.
My question is where is the site list cached and is it per user or computer?
The reason I need to know is that we have a Citrix environment we are upgrading to IE11 and want to know if we cache the latest when creating the vdisk, will it be cached for all users or will they always download a new copy with all the bandwidth it will entail?
Thanks,
Jon

Internet Explorer 11 flashes for 2 AD users just on one site.
Hi Everyone,
I am struggling to solve the problem encountered by two active directory users when the browser was upgraded to IE11 : when they go one specific page of the IE windows starts flashing.
Those two users have the problem regarless of the computer they are logged on from.
IE was uninstalled/reinstalled, the settings reset.
I would like to know if any one has an idea on where to look on the infrastructure side, as this is cleary not a client issue.
Many thanks in advance for your suggestiong and time.

IE 11 Site List Manager .V2 Format XML file Not Compatible
We were using the Site List Manager for a few months and it was working OK. Now that the admin workstation is Windows 10, we downloaded the new Windows 10 version, bulk added the sites from the xml file and then resaved the XML file.
The new format does not work, even for Windows 10 systems. We had to restore a backup copy of the old v1 XML file and use the old site list manager to keep the original XML formatting.
What do we have to change on the workstations to make the new xml format recognized and will it IE 11 on Windows 7 and 8.1 systems recognize this new format?
How To Stop Internet Explorer 11 Prompting To Display Full-screen Mode
Is there a way to stop the desktop version of Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 from prompting whether you want a website to display content in full-screen mode?
When it displays the prompt "Do you want to view youtube.com in full screen? (Press Esc to exit.)", if you select 'Always Allow', it doesn't permanently remember this setting, as it will be reset when the browsing history is deleted. Surely there must be a setting somewhere to prevent it from displaying this prompt every time?
Is Internet Explorer 11 32-bit available for Windows 2008R2 64-bit?
We need internet explorer 11 32 bit version running under Windows 2008R2, which is a 64 bit based OS. This is because all or thin client based applications running under the browser on the local IIS Web server, are designed for the IE 32 bit browser only.
The only IE11 option available to download from Microsoft's site for Windows 2008R2 seems to be only 64-bit based.
I have read some posts that disabling the EPM option will enable 32 bit Tabs to work on IE11 64-bit browser, but then I've read contradicting information that EPM should be enabled for this, so this is not clear.
However, we would rather install a true 32-bit IE11 version instead, all the way 32-bit, not only for the tabs, to ensure our 32 bit browser based thin client apps will work well.
Where may I download an installer for IE11 32-bit for Windows 2008 R2?
Not enough memory or systen resources when opening powerpoint file from Internet using IE11
Hi,
When i try to open MS PowerPoint file from Internet using IE11, i always get error message not enough memory or systen resources. After clicking ok and waiting few seconds file opens correctly. Saving file from the net works but when trying to just open,
error message comes.
There is no errors when using Firefox or Chrome but only when using IE11.
Windows version or Office version is not the reason. I have tried using Win7 and Win10 and also Office 2013 and 2016. Same thing also happens from different web sites
Any idea why this happens?

ie4uinit.exe, KERNELBASE.dll "IE crash"
Good Day,
My system: Windows 7, IE 11
Im getting an error like this:
Source: Application Error
Event-ID: 10000
Faulting application name: ie4uinit.exe, Version: 11.0.9600.17631, Zeitstempel: 0x54b32801 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, Version: 6.1.7601.18939, Zeitstempel: 0x55b02e7b Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000001a93 Faulting process id: 0x1018 Faulting application start time: 0x01d1687a3c68f1d0 Faulting application path: C:\Windows\System32\ie4uinit.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: 7ae2b3a5-d46d-11e5-b636-4437e69068cf
Sometimes, my internet explorer is also crashing during im working on it (for unkown reason).
This problem sporadically ocurs.
What I also recognize is: The event log for the Application Error (above) and the Internet Explorer crash do not happen on same time.
That makes it more strange.
I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.
IE11 Custimization Tool not setting Temp Internet File Size
I created a settings change package inside of the IE11 Customization Wizard that would tweak the "Temporary Internet Files" to 1024 for an application we use. I set this under corporate settings under User and machine and finished the package like normal. But when I deploy the change does not go into effect.
Screenshots attached
I am NOT doing the full installer only the settings update.
Thanks,
Rich

Kiosk mode is not enough
Hello, I'm trying to configure something similar to a strengthen kiosk mode: I enabled "force full screen" so all bars are invisible, I setup the homepage, but uisers also should not be able to modify any other thing in IE nor navigate in other sites. I disabled almost all features and shortcuts using the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions but some of them still work, like Ctrl-E that is Browser History that let the user access to history and to installed search providers. Is there a way to limit this?
Thank you
