Internet Explorer missing application's icons
Hi All,
My customers were using IE11 running on Window 8 to login my Web Application. After loading, a lot of icons (most properly were GIF images) were missed. I used Developer Tool to checked and i found out that those missing images were not downloaded completely even the HTTP Code was returned 200. Kindly refer to the below picture. Actually, the image's size was 1.6 KB, however, the browser only downloaded 0.7 KB then returned 200. This issue happened differently every time i tried. Sometime, this image was ok but the others were missed. I have no idea how to investigate, any help would be very appreciated, Thanks.

Issue printing with internet explorer 10, 11
Hello,
I have a problem with the internet explorer 10,11 printing quality.
I have a simple asp.net program that generate barecode in a bmp picture. those picture are displayed and the users print them.
With internet explorer 8 and 9, the barcode are readable by the scanner.
With the higher versions of internet explorer, the barcode are not readable.
You can see it in the following picture (printed on the same printer but with different versions of ie, red are wrong, green are correct)
Any idea of the problem source? any tricks to resolve the issues?

audio tag for mp3 some mp3 files work, other does not work on Internet Exlorer 9
Hi,
For Internet Exlorer 9 version 9.0.8112.1642 . prodction id: 03553-997-8992671-00524, OS: window 7 v6.1( number 7601, service package 1)
I use html 5 audio tag one m3 file work another one does not work.
synth-unimrcp982.mp3 work for IE 9
synth-unimrcp98.mp3 does not work for IE 9, but it works on firefox and chrome.
I can not find what the difference. I can not attach mp3 files to you.
Could you help me find what is the problem?

Forcing IE to use TLS 1.2
Good morning,
I am having an issue with some computers on my network not accessing a couple of external websites correctly (They are not company websites). When trying to access it, I get the following error:..
This page can’t be displayed
Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to [website url] again. If this error persists, contact your site administrator.
I have done what the error specifies, and have done every combination of TLS/SSL settings in the IE Advanced Settings tab. I have tried clearing SSL state in IE Options. I have done tracerts between two clients (one that works, and one that doesn't) and the external webserver and they are taking the same hops. Both are up to date with Windows Updates, are same models, using the same image. I have tried removing the antivirus with no luck. I was finally able to use Wireshark and found that the computers that are working use TLS 1.2 (but in IE have 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 checked), but the computers that don't work are using TLS 1.0 (even though 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are checked). I have tried forcing IE to use TLS 1.2 to see if that is the issue, but I can't force IE to use TLS 1.2. I have tried using Firefox and Google chrome to no avail. Any suggestions on why one computer will not use TLS 1.2 while the other will? Also, would that cause the connection issue?

Have to close and reopen IE to get ActiveX to work
Hello,
I am a network admin deploying Windows Server 2008r2 with Internet Explorer 9 as terminal servers, I am having trouble with an ActiveX element in one of our internal pages. The page requests the CAB file with three files being an INF, OCX & a DLL.
Running the page as an Administrator. Opening the page for the first time, IE hangs as it gets the CAB file and then will present UAC to allow it to install the ActiveX as an Add On for IE. Each time you come to the page after it will work fine.
Running the page as a user, Every time the user access the page after logging on IE hangs and then will put a red cross in the ActiveX section of the page. If you then close and reopen IE it will then allow the ActiveX element of the page to work fine. The issue is that the user would have to do this each time they logged on.
Why does the page not work first time the users access the page?

Extra tab opening in IE 11 on newly deployed image
I recently updated a Windows 7 x64 image to deploy to a batch of computers. What I noticed is now every time I launch IE 11, it opens an extra tab though it is set to Start with home page and there is only one website designated in the home page field(set by group policy).
This is what I'm getting on the extra tab:
and this is what I get when I select the Microsoft Settings radio button:
and finally this is what I get when selecting Keep Current Settings:
I don't understand why this is happening. On some of the other deployed machines, the second tab will pop up with an ad for the Edge browser. I performed a Reset in IE11 on one of the computers but still the extra tab appears. Is there some way to get rid of this behavior or something I did wrong on the new image?

I installed windows 10 and have found my aol mail is taking longer to download. I had a lot of items in my favorites that are now gone and it has taken me over two years to download all my bill address and other items. Is there a way to regain that info?

Intermittent Prompt for Credentials
Hi There
We have an Intermittent prompt for credentials issue in our environment as follows.
We have a SharePoint page displayed on an information board that runs 24 x 7. Randomly after a length of time (two weeks, sometimes more sometimes less) we will get a popup to re-enter credentials.
The work around is to simply close IE and open IE.
- The web Page is a SharePoint 2010 page.
- The credentials are domain user credentials.
- The PC is running Windows 7 Professional but is not domain joined and at this point joining to domain is not an option
- Single AD Domain & Forest, one AD site
- Internet Explorer 11 latest patches etc..
Things we've verified/tried
- NTP is accurate and synching (windows time service running)
- DNS resolution seems fine
Not sure where to go from here as far as troubleshooting goes, any advice is appreciated, ideally like to figure out root cause, worst case we'll fall back to a nightly IE restart script

IE 11 Keep Frazing when going to some sites

When I go to some site My IE 11 keep frazing.

You be on these site for comple of minutes it will fraze and you can do anything until you force the IE 11 to close.
I try same sites in Firefox and other browser and they work without any problems.
I'm using
- Windows 7 Enterprise 64bite
- IE 11
My PC is all upto date.
These are the things I have tried.
- IE 11 with no addon (Still same problems)
- Disable all addon (Still same problem)

Installing Windows 10 with wrong video card
I keep getting notices that Windows 10 is ready to be installed but I keep holding off because I have the wrong video card per the windows hardware info. Will Windows 10 FAIL to install if it finds an incorrect video card or will I endure massive problems
if I install it with the wrong video card? I have a PC with Windows 7 and IE 11. Thank you.

“internet zone template” group policy doesn't work as expected

I'd like to configure Security Level for Internet Zone thru Group Policy.
i'm using “internet zone template” and configured it as "High".
But in IE, the level is still Medium-high.
Question:Am i using “internet zone template” policy in wrong way? If yes, what is “internet zone template” policy used for?

IE 11 Hide Address bar but keep Forward and Back buttons or disable typing in address bar
Hi
I would like to hide the address bar but still be able to use the forward and back buttons and some other features. I have add the rege key to remove nav bar but that removes everything. Im using this in a citrix xendesktop environment. I will deploy a site but don't want the users to navigate to other sites. For instance go to our intranet site but stop them from going to our firewall gui page. So when they click on links I wont them to be able to go back to the previous page. Any ideas?

No Option to Open
I'm working with someone who uses IE10 on Windows 7 32-bit Enterprise. She clicks on a link to download a PDF file, and it gives her the option to save/save as.. or Cancel but not the option to Open. She would like the link to give her the option to open the file.
Here are the things I've tried:
At first I tried the obvious. Made sure the adobe reader plug-in was enabled. Made sure Adobe reader Internet settings were checked.
After messing with the settings in reader and IE, and getting nowhere, I decided to recreate her user profile on the computer. This seemed to give the option to open, but then she asked if I could make it to where tiffs would open automatically without asking to save or open. So I saved a tiff from IE, went to download manager, then right clicked the tiff file and unchecked automatically ask.
After that, she thought it might work on PDFs as well so we went back to the site with the original PDF we were working with, I clicked on the link. Now it gives me the option to save or cancel with no option to open once again. I tried saving the file and going into the download manager, right clicked the file but there's no Automatically ask me if I want to open or save option listed for me to uncheck.
SO. I created a batch file that would put a zero value REG_NONE key called AcroPDF.PDF.1 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentExecute\{0002DF01-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}. That didn't fix the problem. It's still doing the same thing.
I don't want to recreate her profile again because she wouldn't stop complaining after I did it the first time. "How do I get my font back? Where are my printers? Why are my favorites out of order? I should have taken screenshots before you did this! etc etc." At this point my head hurts and I just want it to be over. Where is the setting, registry key, or file I need to edit to make this PDF at least give the option to open from within IE?

IE homepage is hacked and popups are everywhere
I somehow got a pop-up site named as s.admathhd.com that appears on all of my web browsers. I deleted browser extensions and uninstalled every programs downloaded in the last 2 days, and its still there. I also downloaded some auto fix tools from:

But they doesn't work. I've been at it for 4 hours so any ideas on how to get rid of it?

How to set the default option to "Save As" while downloading a file in Internet Explore 11
Hi,
Whenever we download a file, we save it on different location. Every time we need to click the arrow, side of the save option to access the 'Save As' option. So Is there any option/Group policy setting to set the default option to 'Save As' or replace the 'Save' with 'Save As' ?

youtube spinngin circle (hour glass)
I've searched on Google and many forums for solutions for this problems at nauseum. None of the suggestions posted work for this issue: at least HALF of the time I launch a video on Youtube, its version of the hour glass processing sign, an annoying spinning circle, goes on for a long time and then either plays my requested video or gives me the Youtube error message.
I've done everything from malware cleanings to restarting my computer and modem. This problem is only occurring in the IE 11 browser, which I prefer
