Hello!

I've came up with this problem with my IE 11 where I can't load 60fps youtube videos, since my laptop is low end now a days, I can't run 60fps on chrome because of too high CPU usage and low RAM memory.

Althought I know it is possible to run 60fps video on IE since it is less demanding, the only problem is that it won't work, I've gone into youtube.com/html5 and activated it and all I can get is 720P resolution therefore i'm asking for your help with figuring out what's going on.

I cannot open settings after downloading the free Windows 10 upgrade.  I've tried pinning it to task bar, by right clicking then open, and with fast key (WIN + 1).  The box will appear for a split second, then disappear or close. Please help. Thanks for your time.

IE 11 renames files. For instance, .exe files become _exe, .zip become _zip. This is happening on Win 7 Ultimate-64-bit, Win 7 Pro 64-bit, and Win 8.1 Update.

This interferes with my ability to get updates to my Visual Studio and many other programming tools.

IE 11 won't even support the Akami system used by MS.

As far as I know all the security settings are set to allow downloads. Windows Firewall is configured to tell me when it blocks a program.

I read an earlier blog post from the IE Team that says this problem is due to some sites being creative!?!

The latest Firefox has no issues downloading.

Years ago I wrote a web page that opens my morning reading, about 75 different websites.  In firefox, I had to add a variable to allow this, as (understandably) this is turned off as a security feature by default.  As I am moving to IE, I would like to do that here.  How can I do it?

When I try to drag a file in from Windows Explorer to the browser, it just shows a "not allowed" symbol
It works in Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, but not Edge, what am I doing wrong?

Couldn't find the forum for MS Edge from the forum categories... so I posted mine here on IE 9~11.

1. I tried to follow the guide on the link below to apply Enterprise Mode Site Listto MS Edge,

    by setting the list xml path to "file:///c:\\templist.xml" (Local File URL),

    but it's not recognized by MS Edge (The group policy on both Edge and IE11 are enabled)

    Also, on the same guide there exists "Open in IE" checkbox on theEnterprise Mode Site List Manager,

    but the checkbox isn't present on the version that can be downloaded from the official MS download page.

    I'd like to know where I can get the latest version of Enterprise Mode Site List Manager.

2. The guide above mentions about the page where I can find "Automatically open this site with IE11"checkbox,

    and I wonder under what condition MS Edge displays this page.

    I heard there are three conditions: Enterprise Mode Site List,Intranet Fallback Policy Set, and MS Compatibility List,

    but is there any different method to force users to see this page?

The issue is when I open up internet explorer 11 in Windows 7 my home page is Yahoo however it never opens its just waits for yahoo to respond. Mozilla works but IE does not. I thought I solved the problem by resetting IE. Its seemed to speed up and it worked for a day.

Now I had the problem again. I have to restart the computer to open IE. I also have a 100 of processes working and wonder if that is a problem.

I am not able to logon the server from Google. It currently works from home by using Internet Explorer, wifi networked, but when moving into a wifi free hotspot, I can't access it any longer.

Any idea over what I am doing wrong?

Hello,

we are about to upgrade from IE9 to IE11. While testing we found a problem when opening our sharepoint 2010 site. At the bottom we get the following message:

"This webpage want to run "NameCtrlClass" which isn't compatible with Internet Explorers enhanced security features. if you trust this site, you can disable Enhanced Protected Mode for this site and allow the control to run." 

You can choose between "Run control" oder "don't run". But the result stays: The message still pops up every time.

I searched the web and realized that the NameCtrlClass is used to display the availability of a person in sharepoint. As this feature is not used we disabled the NameCtrlClass through GPO. But its not helping either :(

Ah, we are using Office 2010, and the NameCtrlClass Version is 14.0.6109.5000. So we do not have the common error, that the NameCtrlClass wasn't updated while installing Office 2013.

Any ideas how we solve this problem?

I've ready many pages and threads so far about this, some helpful and some not, but I still haven't got a working solution. I need to ensure that our corporate desktops have IE11 set as their default browser, whilst allowing Chrome as a secondary browser, mostly on Windows 7 machines but also on some Windows 8+ machines. I need to apply this across the organisation preferably using Group Policy. I can't find anything so far that works for me. Any pointers would be helpful.

After installing Windows 10, I can only attach files to gmail intermittently. It doesn't have anything to do with the size of the attachment. Sometimes I have to shut down everything and reboot.

In addition, I periodically have a delay of 1-3 seconds between typing a character and the character appearing on the screen.  Is there a fix for this?

Hi

We have a custom User Agent String defined on our clients. When I change IE9 to Compatibility Mode (over F12 Developer Toolbar), the User Agent String changed and the custom definied token stayed.

When I change the User Agent String in IE11 (e.g. to IE9) over F12, the custom definied User Agent String is removed.

Is this by default and is there another way to change the user agent string for troubleshooting but keep the custom definied token?

I have loaded the patch for explore 11 KB30558515 and KB3065822 several times and then explore does not connect to the internet anymore.  I receive a error message that this page can not be displayed. This happens with any browser I use.  It seems that port 80 is shut down for this reason. I am running win7 64 pro and home on two different PC's. I am also running Norton anti virus. can some one assist thanks.

We have upgraded from IE8 to IE11, and use Oracle/PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management or HR) application version 9.1 with PeopleTools version 8.53.20.

On a particular page within the PeopleSoft HCM application, after specifying employee and date search criteria, a grid will display the first 1 to 10 rows of employee data. The grid has an hyperlink to "View 100" rows in lieu of the first 10 rows. IE8 returns these first 100 rows successfully.

With IE11 running in IE8 emulation mode, that same selection of "View 100" rows displays a "spinning wheel" in the top right hand corner of the browser. The wheel pauses spinning for about 1-2 seconds when the HTTP POST method completes (noted using the development tools under the "Network" tab, after starting network traffic capturing), then the wheel resumes spinning with no additional data returned. It never renders / returns the first 100 rows in the grid. I've used Fiddler to determine that the data in question is being returned following the HTTP POST.

Is this an issue with IE11 unsuccessfully emulating IE8?

I have been running MSN email for many years, with no problems using Win XP, 7, 8 and 8.1. I upgraded to Windows 10 and it did not move my saved email located in this folders (some of my folders were moved to Win 10 with only the last 30 days emails). I tried sending some of the ones I needed to keep, with product keys and other information to myself and then adding to the folders in Windows 10. I could move them to the folders, but they would disappear later. I tried this many time with the same emails and others. Just would not work. All other functions for the MSN email work. Question is, why did it not move my saved email to the folder? Why when I place the email in the folders, they disappear later? Only had two other problem with Windows 10 and were resolved by reinstalling the programs.  If this problem cannot be resolved, I will go back to Win 8.1, as this email program is one of my most used items on my PCs. Does anyone know how or why?

The multibox in jsp, the checked value couldn't pass by request and not being populated by DynaValidationActionForm.
