I'm having a problem using Internet Explorer 11 and the flight tracking site radarbox24.com on one of my PC's, using Windows 7. When I try to use Cockpit View, I get a message "Error Constructing CesiumWidget". My other PC's work fine with this site.Any ideas?

Internet Exporer 11: Disable search from address bar (entirely)

When we try to use internal websites (sites like hostname.some.subdomain.com:NNNN/some/path/ ) internet explorer 11 shows autocomplete entries for previous visits to those websites, but, when selected, it then searches bing for those URLs, and that makes very little sense to do.

it's an address bar. it's where addresses are typed in. I don't want internal website addresses (frankly, any website addresses) to turn into a bing search. I don't search from the address bar. Ever. In previous versions I could disable that, and in this version that option seems to have been replaced with "go directly if a single word is typed in [intranet site like "home" or "intranet" or "sharepoint", etc.] ", but that doesn't disable the search feature enough to avoid still continuing to search when internal websites are entered/selected in the address bar.

Is there some other place to disable the search, so that addresses typed into the address bar work?

I want to open ALL links in a new window... not in a new tab or in the same window. If MS allows this in the updated version of IE, how do I do this?

Default Search Engines

I just want to know why choose "Search Engine Provider" is even available? I have gone to my settings, changed my preference, saved it, got back online (same sight) and low and behold rite back to the unprefferred, unfamiliar, pain in the ass search engine that conveniently adds the bonus of routing me every where but where I was initially trying to go. I guess where my frustration lies is I do not want to type in for example: "Google" every time in "Conduit Search" to get back to "Google".

Mind you this is one of many frustrating things that occur online, but I have to start somewhere. I realize I can eliminate 90% of the issues purchasing a Mac and when I can afford it I will but in the mean time any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx

Internet Explorer 11 frozen

Seems to have happened since something called a Conduit search engine insinuated itself on my 64-bit machine, which is running IE11 under Windows 8.1. It freezes on a white screen on opening and does not appear to be able to use the machine's internet acccess. Only the favourites menu is live so I had to resort to Chrome. That too was infected with Conduit, which (cross fingers) I managed to eradicate with great difficulty together with other crapware that came in its wake. I've tried every suggestion on the support site to revive IE - including a reset to defaults and an alleged reinstall, which does not seem to replace corrupted registry entries or files. Scan and repair simply reported that it could not fix some files. A search of the registry revealed that Conduit had installed itself as my IE start page, but changing this made no difference. The CBS log means little to me but includes a number of 'failed to upload' lines

Disabling the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 11

I would like to know if I can delete (e.g., rename) my 32-bit IE installation, thus forcing the system to run ONLY the 64-bit version. My IE 11 (on Win7) hangs several times per day, and it's almost always the 32-bit that's the "faulting application." The faulting module varies (frequently MSHTML.dll), but I wonder if there isn't a crossing of wires, so to speak -- some sort of contention between the two IE versions that's causing the hangs, crashes, and even a BSOD.

In terms of memory allocation, per Task Manager a short while ago, the first 6 instances of iexplore.exe were all 32-bit, a single instance of 64-bit, then several more 32s.

If anyone knows the ramifications of my making the 32-bit version "invisible," and, indeed, what would be the best way to go about it, I would really appreciate it.

Gmail freezes using IE but fine with other browers

I was the victim of a malware attack today (conduit search). I think I got it mostly removed but it was not allowing certain webpages to be open, getting the display errors such as "cannot display webpage" error for IE and other error messages for firefox and Google Chrome. I finally got all those fixed and removed the Conduit elements from windows. Just when I thought I had it licked I was in IExplorer and about 5 seconds after it opens it freezes and I get the error message "IE has stopped working". it then asks me to try and recover the page but the same cycle repeats itself.

I never had this problem until today so it must be the result of the malware attack itself which may have adjusted some of my computer settings or I changed something during the long process of finding out the original problem and trying to solve it.

Any suggestions?

IE 10 homepage reverts to ASK.com

I have removed the ASK toolbar from a Windows 7 machine with IE10. I can now reset the homepage which is fine for that session, it changes back to ASK.Com if I close the browser and reopen. I have removed all traces of ask from the manage add ons feature. I have also run the microsoft malicious software removal tool which finds nothing. I have also searcged the registry for any mention of ASK, and removed them. I know this is harmless but I would like to remove whatever script resets this setting.

going to google freezes entire internet explorer

I've never had any problems whatsoever with IE. Suddenly, when I type google.com into the address bar and the page pops up, the entire IE freezes. The keyboard does nothing and the mouse cursor will move, but not click at all. The only thing I can do is CTRL ALT DEL out of it. Everything else is working fine. I don't run any toolbars, but i ran the automatic fix off the Microsoft website anyway. It did nothing.

Weird thing- when I hit the keyboard after google pops up, the only effect it has is to just very slightly move the page up and down, almost like a flicker it's so subtle.

How to save and export configuration files for IE 11 in(Possibly in an active directory)

Hey all,

I need some help capturing and exporting configuration settings for Internet Explorer 11. I am trying to deploy configuration settings for IE 11 which I have set up on a master computer. The settings have been put in place as a patch which will allow my students to run an E-Exam through explorer. I have all my settings configured on my master unit, but I would like to know if there is a way to capture an image or file of these configured settings to be deployed to my students which would save me from manually configuring 200+ units. This might include Locating and saving configuration files or directly exporting my current configuration through an active directory. Though I am at a loss on how to do this. I've done a fair bit of research and have come up empty handed so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

IE 11 Crashes: Event 1005 Application Error

Hi

I mistakenly tried installing a couple of MP4 -MP3 conversion programs . The result being they seem to have added something to IE 11 which makes it crash. I don't know which one of them has caused which is why I haven't named them

I have tried the usual remove windows 8.1 features: uncheck IE 11 , reboot and recheck IE11

SFC /scannow didn't report any errors.

I have seem some posts mentioning registering DLLs but they seem to reference older versions of explorer

CPU % extremely high

0

I have Win 7 home premium with 4.0 gig mem. When booting, I have anywhere from 65 to 80 processes and in task manager I show roughly between 3 ad 25% cpu usage. My carrier supplies me with avg download speed of 200+ mbps. Yet when I use IE11 my cpu usage goes up drastically.

Just opening one page takes up2-300 k of cpu and my performance monitor is maxed out around 100%. So, if IE is so slow, I can’t take advantage of my internet speed since it takes forever to load anything. I also have all add-ons disabled. Anything else I can change?

Critical InfoPath error in IE 11

Hi

We are using
SharePoint in Office 365. I have built many InfoPath forms and published them
to SharePoint libraries.

I am using IE11 and when I try to save an attachment using the attachment control on an
InfoPath Form I get a critical error, and in the error details Object doesn't support property or method
'getElementsByClassName'

I have gone back to previous forms that I know have worked with attachments before and these fail now.

I do not see these errors in Firefox or Chrome, ironic that non Microsoft browsers work

Any help you can give me would be appreciated

Gary
