So, I've seen a bunch of posts where the moderator marks something as the "solution" when it doesn't seem to resolve the issue and so I felt the need to post on this subject again. I've had a lot of frustration, and I really want to use IE
11, not to mention it's our corporate standard and if something isn't done before EOL next January, our end user support folks are going to be in a world of hurt.
Here is my situation. I've used IE 11 on several versions of Windows. I've used it on Windows 10 Technical Preview too, but since that's not in production, I'll ignore it for now.
IE11 crashes constantly. It crashes when the only thing open is a blank tab. It crashes on Bing.com. It crashes on Microsoft.com and Outlook.com. It crashes when I open Office365. It crashes on pretty much every major website and that's when it's not
otherwise misbehaving - like when it won't open links in a new tab (it particularly doesn't like to open TechNet links from google.com.)
I have used it on at least the following device/OS/application combinations and the truth is, even before I had all the applications installed, it still gave me problems. My point with this is that if it doesn't work on the default
install on a Surface Pro 3 with nothing else installed, and it doesn't work after I reset it twice, I just can't imagine that another reset is going to change anything and I don't see a single application common among the all of machines I've used.
I am not the only person I know who is having similar issues, though most of our users who are on Win 8.1 just give up and use Chrome.
The only thing that I know which can cause issues, (because I happened to have one of the MSFT debuggers installed on one of my machines,) is Flash, which is part of the default install now. The problem is that I almost always have Flash disabled. On the
odd chance that I need it, I will enable it and then disable it when I'm done, but IE 11 still crashes despite that.

For good measure, I have problems with IE 11 on my HTC One M8 with WinPhone 8.1. That's probably best saved for a different post.
I'm looking for either a solution or some thoughts on what I can try. Unfortunately I'm under pressure to complete a lot of tasks at this point in time and while I'm very interested in finding a resolution and will do my best to keep up with any suggestions,
please understand if I don't respond immediately.
Thanks.
