I developed a custom HTML5 video player with custom controls( forward, backward, stop play and pause). I am calling the video ended function to display another html page when the video completes and it works fine in all browsers
But when I try to seek the video from starting point to end point of the video using custom seekbar ,video ended function not firing in IE9, IE10 and IE11 and works fine in Chrome and firefox.
I think problem is with IE.

I've enabled IE11 Enterprise Mode and setup an XML-file on a fileshare which I've created using "Enterprise Mode Site List manager".
When I logon with my test-user and launc IE, after aprox 65 seconds I get the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\internet explorer\Main\EnterPriseMode\ CurrentVersion string updated to the current version of my XML-file. I can then browse the sites and verify that Enterprise Mode is enabled for the sites that I have specified in my XML-file
The problems I'm facing is that if I logout my user and then log back on again to the server and start IE and brwose the sites Enterprise Mode is no longer enabled for them. Also if my user has manually specified some sites for enterprise mode this does not live between sessions.
Where in the profile does IE EM store the data over which websites that are supposed to be in entprise mode? I've found under AppData\Local\ EmieSiteList and EmieUserList but theese 2 catalogs only contains "container.dat" which is 0 KB?
Anyone know? Has anyone gotten IE EM to work in RDS?

I have been experiencing a situation related to Windows 7 Pro and Internet Explorer 9.
We would like to update the IE to 11 and we have not been able. The update fails.
We have tried uninstalling the IE 9 and it fails with errors. We have researched the error in the Internet and found potential solutions and we applied them all including the one that uses the command prompt.
We have also tried uninstalling IE9 using the Updates and it fails.
We tried installing an offline file to upgrade to IE 11 and it fails.
We tried installing an offline file to upgrade to IE 10 and it also fails.
We are in need of upgrading to IE 11 to be able to see all documents and sites available.
I have the cbs logs, we have used the Microsoft troubleshooting kit and no positive results.
Need help..

I'm testing IE 11 for sites my company uses to conduct business. I've tested IE on both Domain joined and non-domain joined work stations. I have an issue where IE 11 doesn't display the notification bar for certificate errors, downloads, or ActiveX controls. We do have a few sites that we want to run in Enterprise mode, so that is enabled in the Local Computer Policy. There are no other settings configured in the Local Computer policy for Internet Explorer. I'm seeing the same behavior on both Windows x86 and x64. The only strange behavior I've noticed is that after upgrading to IE 11, the Internet Explorer administrative templates fail to load. I get an error reporting a problem at line 795 column 308 regarding the Advanced_EnableSSL3Fallback entry. It states that the reference couldn't be found. IE 8 and 9 both work for the sites we are using and both display the notification bar as expected. I've tried enabling Mixed content, unsigned ActiveX controls, initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe, disabling Protected mode, enabling the prompting of ActiveX controls, and disabling Prevent ignoring Certificate errors. Nothing I have found has corrected the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm testing something in IE 11 - I need a site to open in IE7 document mode, so have used the Enterprise Mode Site List Manager to create an xml file.
I can tell that the device is using the xml file (the version number increments in the HKCU key) but the site continues to render in Edge mode.
The only mode that I seem to be able to use is Enterprise mode. If I try on a non-domain joined device Enterprise mode works as expected - i.e. I can set any site to open in any mode I choose.
A domain joined PC however only seems to apply sites that are set for Enterprise Mode and not any of the other available modes
Any help appreciated!

I would like to deploy IE11 using IEAK. I'm trying to package the IE11 prerequisite updates into the exe\msi it outputs but the installer is still trying to go out to the Internet to grab them from Microsoft updates. I want to avoid this. I am adding the updates via the Custom Components phase in the IEAK Wizard but I am not sure if this even works or if I am even using the correct command. I know the cabs are being inserted into the package because the size of the IE11-Setup-Full.exe\msi grows proportionality with the included cab files.
The expand command keeps getting truncated when I return to the Wizard no matter what I put so I am guessing its incorrect. IEAK documentation is lacking in this area.

BLURY FONTS PATCH KB2670838 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2670838/en-us)is not listed as Download Search on MS-Downloads today 11.03.2015 BUT needed for IE11 Setup as i understood.
We have gone through this for a customer request to upgrade from IE9 to IE11. I normally work with IEAK since years. We always check the PRE patches and then as we had in IE9 the POST hotfixes (Reaching 7-15 pieces for each IE version > Patches you may have to request).
I see two problems with reading a few hours now and doing research:
1) PRE INSTALL patches without the Reboot
If you install the 9 patches with a batch or script you should
a) Reboot the client which makes it a Reboot and advance package which some deployment can't handle
b)Solution> Rebuild the Patch Inventory by running command "%winsysdir%\wbem\wmic.exe qfe"
2) BLURY PATCH KB2670838
For existing machines and also for new installation through deployment we have following scenario at almost all customers in Switzerland.
a) Customer who have a WSUS clean by us haveKB2670838 DENY and thus not installed.
b) The IEAK11 setup DOES install patches which he needs in the background silent. So KB2670838 would be downloaded if the "Computer-accounts" proxy is set right. But we don't want that and we don't want the patch.
Can someone FROM Microsoft please tell us how to advance in this?
IE11 IEAK needs the KB2670838 and still in V8 of the KB it will cause blurry FONTS. The patch will in V( detect some GFX cards they have problems and skip the worst like bluescreen.
Did anybody SOLVE this after release of the IE11 and the KB2670838 ?
The following sub.jsp file shows the formatted XML properly as expected when is opened directly:

IE11 shows the result as below which are colored and can be collapsed or un-collapsed:

But if the sub.jsp is opened in an iframe from the below main.html, it only shows the values of the XML in the iframe:

The iframe shows only the XML values, i.e., chapter 1 chapter 2 in IE11. This issue does not happen in IE8.
I appreciate to your if you know how to address this issue.

I need some help here. My machine runs on win 7 pro 64bit and I am trying to install a program however I keep getting an error that reads "This program requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.Please install internet explorer and rerun the Evpot+ installer."
I am already running on I.E 6

I am in a domain environment running Windows 8.1 x64. We also have a Citrix environment running XenApp 7.5. Both are running IE 11.0.9600.
There is one particular website that one of my users is trying to get to, where they are getting the "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate." message. They are able to access the website, but this message
is popping up in place of embedded videos on the website. I tried to go to the website myself both inside and outside Citrix, and am getting the same message. This is the list of things I've tried that haven't worked yet:
- Deleted all browsing history
- Reset IE to factory defaults
- Unchecked Check for Publisher's/Server's certificate revocation
- Added the website to trusted sites
- Viewed that website in compatibility mode
- Disabled protected mode for 'Internet'
- Cleared SSL State
- Launched IE with no add-ons
- Clicked the Security Report to view the certificate (The certificate is within the validity date)
I am stumped at this point. I am able to access the website from outside the network, and I am able to access the website from Chrome inside the network. As best I can tell, this is an Internet Explorer issue, but I'm at a loss as to what to try next.

We are moving to Windows Server 2012 R2 and therefor to Internet Explorer 11. I have already upgraded the administrative template files holded by our domain controller (.admx files on the central store).
When trying to create a GPO I just can't find a configuration item to set the browser title. I know that IEM has gone in favor of group policy preferences. But there is no such config item there as well. Am I stuck with IEAK11?

Prior to IE 10/11 we had a GPO in place to set the Browser title (internet explorer brought to you by XYZ Industries)
As this GPO option was removed, I used IEAK for IE10 to create the branding. However, this doesn't show when IE is run. Rather the browser title is blank. If I change my theme to Windows Classic, it shows. The other themes are missing the title.
Is this intentional? is there a way to get it to display with an Aero theme applied?
Not a massive drama, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about why this happens
