Hello Guys,

I need help about warning security IE 8.0.

When I try install a software from my webserver is display the following message:

I can't check the publisher.Are you sure install the software?

This file does not have a valide digital signature that verifies its publisher.

You should only install software from publishers you trust.

Well, I already enable:

Download signed ActiveX controls

Download unsigned ActiveX controls

Allow active content from CDs to run on user machines Enabled 
Allow software to run or install even if the signature is invalid Enabled 
Check for server certificate revocation Disabled 
Check for signatures on downloaded programs Disabled 

Is there somewhere I disable all settings warning's about IE or one specific GPO I need disable for this warning don't display for me?

In the same installation a lot of about file .cab are installed, only one specifc I don't have sucess.

Hello

I work as part of a IT team within a organization that has 200+ Windows 8.1 devices, recently we have been experiencing a problem when downloading files using Internet Explorer 11.

You click the file to download (word document,PDF etc) and you get the yellow bar at the bottom asking you to open save etc but when you select any of the options nothing happens and this is becoming increasingly more common.

I cant believe we are the only people to have this issue but i have searched and cant find any answers.

I hope somebody can help us.

Our client systems using Internet Explorer 10 and 11 need to have their Internet Explorer browser set to the Default Browser by Group Policy. There is the eHow article, www ehow.com/how_6356764_make-ie-default-browser-gpo.html [please note that I had to take out the . on the www to keep the link from being blocked in this post ] , but this only applies up to Internet Explorer 9.  Internet Explorer 10 and 11 deprecated the IEM utility ( and still asking why, why, why ). So, the eHow article is no longer the solution.

Anybody know of a another way?  Even if it is a registry modification - push via Group Policy solution ( like the Enable All Cookies capability is now )....... ?

Hi!
  I've used the Sysinternals Desktops for years, and after upgrading IE to 10, I notice that each launch of a new IE window goes to the desktop of an existing IE window, not always on the desktop you're at.  Anyone know of a workaround?  Thanks!

Well, I’ve wasted another perfectly good hour looking for a way to download Internet Explorer 10. I can’t find it anywhere.  IE 7, 8 ,9, 11 no trouble. 10 though it appears has dropped off the face of the earth.  Does anyone have a link into an official download location for IE 10?  via premier or mvls would be fine as well.

Hello, 

i have a  having some problems with internet explorer 11 in windows 8.1 desktop mode on my boss notebook

when i open  ie  the first page load the most viewd pages, but dont let me go to any site the title change to ne new site i want to go but the page dont change, and when the load status on title finish the tile go back to the previus one

let suppose that the first page is msn.com and whant to go to office.com. i type on office.com on the address bar and hit enter

the title tab change to msn to office.com and loading page icon on the tab start

when the loading icon finish the title go back to msn.com

alweys the 1 tap is unusable, i neet  to create  a  new tab and type the url that i whant to go

any sugestion ?

Hi,

While saving an image in an application which is captured using a webcam we get an error message IEPostStringrequest.image upload failed. Has anyone seen this issue before? any suggestions to troubleshoot?

Hi. I have a blog on Blogger Amazon Top 10 Bestsellers and in one of the widgets I inserted an OnTopList badge.

Now when I load the page the badge doesn't load the image and when I click on the link it opens a new tab but instead loading a target page it gives me:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

This only happens on my computer, when I tested the page fromanother location the badge loaded fine and the connection to the OnTopList worked flawlessly. I even tested it with Firefox on my computer and it also works.

Any ideas?

Hello. Has anyone seen an issue before where iexplore.exe is at version 11.0.9600.17420 (or even higher), which should allow for the enabling of Enterprise Mode, but the Enterprise Mode option is not listed as an option under Tools? We've checked registry keys and policy, and all are set properly to allow Enterprise Mode. This only happens at the rate of about 1 out of every 100 installs, but we're perplexed on why this occurs.

Hi,

My company only uses Apache web servers, it would be a drawn out process for us to get an IIS server commissioned, can we use Apache servers for the IE 11 Enterprise Mode Logging. I can only find instructions on how to set this up in IIS.

If so, does anybody have any instructions on how to do this?

We have a script that runs on all computers that opens our intranet. This script crashed Windows build 9926 overtime. Is there any way to fix this. Also I can't install the new build because the HP printers update fails everytime.

Internet Explorer Cannot display google.com or yahoo.com site but Chrome can.

Hi,

I have a PC in the office with a strange issue, please bare with me as this is most odd.

HP Z400 workstation, Windows 7 Ent X64, IE 11. On a Server 2008 Domain.

On this PC, for any user that logs on, IE will not display a lot of websites, examples are www.google.com and www.yahoo.com. I can access them in Chrome completely fine. IE just tells me "Cannot display the webpage". 

I CAN ping the sites, and IE WILL display them if i enter the IP in the address bar. I just cannot access the site by name.

I have tried the following things to fix this and none of them worked;

1. Uninstall/RE-install IE

2. "Reset" IE to default using the advanced option button

3. IPconfig /flushDNS

4. Bypassed our internal Proxy server (websense) to rule that out

5. Cleared cached WPAD files (Del \wpad*.dat /S), combined with nbtstat -r, IE Reset and Flushdns

6. Changed physical network adaptor in the PC

7. Changed all network cabling from floor port to PC and patched to a different switch port in comms rack (clutching at straws at this point)

I think i can rule out out Domain's DNS, as other machines are OK and DNS Lookups are OK (as i can get the IP for the site and browse to that)

I have no more ideas to try out, so I come here pleading for your help to solve this before I decide on a career change and run away from it.

P.S. Please done respond just asking me to "Clean boot" the system, I tried safe mode with networking already and i still get the same problem.

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Surface Pro & am slowly getting to grips with it. One issue I am having is that when I open Outlook from Internet Explorer, I get a band along the bottom suggesting that I set up outlook on my mobile with a button giving the options of close or setup. When I close Outlook & reopen it, the next time I get one asking me to connect to social networks like facebook, connect or close.

My question is, how do I stop these from appearing? I already have this on my phone & do not use social networks.

I am running Windows 7 and recently appear to have been upgraded to Internet Explorer 11.

A Couple of days ago i was successfully using F5 Firepass (using IE 10). Today i cant use it...

After sorting out Kaspersky - which has started to consoder the logon as needing a secure keyboard entry (never did this before...),

I am getting warnings; (a) that Javascript is not enabled - it looks enabled to me...

(b) I need to install the F5 Browser plugin.

I have downloaded the plugin (NPuroamHost.dll), and the instructions are to 'unpack it into the plugins folder of your browser tree.'

Where on earth is this?

I found another post elsewhere with a similar problem - and the solution was to uninstall Internet Explorer 11. Amazing!

I want to set some custom HTTP Request Header for IE8. I used XMLHttpRequest to set the request header, but I received Object doesn't support this property or method error message.

I think IE8 used XDomainRequest instead of XMLHttpRequest. Same goes to $.ajax, it failed to set the custom header.

Is there any way to set custom Http Request Header for IE8?

Sample I used with XMLHttpRequest:

Posted the question on GPO forum but decided to ask on IE forum because somebody could experience and know IE10 specific problem. DCs are 2008 Functional Level 2003. Latest ADMXs in place.

Description:

I added contoso.com in

Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Internet Explorer / Compatibility View / show contents

GPO applied on workstation.

When check  Compatibility View in IE it is empty. I guess it should appear there if GPO applied and not permitted for deletion.

HAVE TO add that the test is on W7 with IE10(64bit) installed on top of IE8

What could be a problem?

I am using IE9 (Win7--64-bit). Why am I being asked to Disable EPM in Internet Explorer?  EPM was introduced in IE10 and 11!! I did disable Protection Mode in my settings, but each time I attempted to open a pdf document, the "...Disable EPM in Internet Explorer..." message would surface.  Any nuggets of wisdom?  I do not want to use IE10 nor IE 11.

Hi,

I have done windows "W7" upate then IE"V11" starts misbeshaving, opens, flashs, then closes in a second. I have tried uninstalling then installing, reset the internet setting, uncheck with reboot  then check  from acessories folder  but all my attempts turned to be unsucessful. I took it to a shop and been advised to reformat it which is not favorable.

I have got a feeling it is a missing windows component, or a setting issue, or windows services. I also noticed skype stopped working.

Please, help
