Few days ago my LAN proxy settings in Internet Options>Connection tab changed and I can't able to revert the changes. It set to

HTTP: 127.0.0.1:8080

Secure: 127.0.0.1:8080

A message at the bottom displays "Some settings are managed by your system administrator". I am the only user of my PC.

I am using windows 8.1 having Internet explorer 11. I had tried all the methods to make it work correctly but not succeeded, please help me to solve this problem I can't able to connect any of the tiles apps and my internet speed also slows down. I checked out for any miscellaneous program that may got installed on my PC but didn't find any one, all are from trusted vendors.

Hello,

I installed IE11 in Windows 7. When I check http://www.buienradar.nl/ the animation is not playing. If I enable the advanced option "play animations in webpages'. It works. But when I do a gpupdate /force. the option is disabled again.

The strange thing is that the GPO setting 'play animations in webpages' is not configured. Gpresult /h or Group policy result also says there is no setting wich should do this. (as a domain admin so I see computer and user settings)

Does IE11 has a feature which resets this setting to default after a gpudate?

I prefer not to enable the  'play animations in webpages' because a user cannot change it anymore.

Setting a preference will result in the same behaviour as enable the option manually.

I have had a number of Dell PC's that are crashing when using Java and Reflections for the web 2014  I have tried a number of things. Removed old Java installs, reset IE, removed Java and re-installed. So far the only thing that helps is re-staging the PC with the same updates and the same version of Java. The Java version we are using is 8.25. I am currently testing the following; remove all Java versions. Install Java version 7.17 ( this is the version Reflections installs when you do not have Java installed). Anyone have any help?

I’m trying to assess the browser situation with respect to Microsoft.

I need to provide input to my management about the browsers to be supported in future.

Came across some information on MS site which I’m pasting below.

What I’m trying to understand is that from Jan-12, 2016, will Internet Explorer 9 & 10 not be supported on Windows 7?

Pasted below is an extract from site:

“Beginning January 12, 2016, only the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical support and security updates.”

And the oldest they’ll support for Windows Desktop OS is IE9 on Vista SP2; for Windows 7 SP1 it’ll be IE11.

Hello, We have gone to the website http://www.salonrenovationmaisonneuve.com/en/exposants

and download the file to open Inside of IE. Once the file is open, none of the links either e-mail or web site works. However, if we open the same file Inside of Google Chrome, the links work. So, we want to know if we are missing something in IE or a plugin. The PDF file opens with no problem but the links are not enabled. The file works in an Apple Machine and Google Chrome. However, if we download the file physically inside of the computer and then open the file with Adobe Reader, the links all work! Any ideas how to solve this issue? Thanks Miguel Moreno

Hello guys.

i want to change someof the IE setting with a .reg file.

but i cant find out how can do this kind of things:

I need make sure that cookies are enabled and not blocked.

I need to add to my 'Trusted Sites Zone'  my own website 'www.YOUR-WEBSITE.com'.

I need to either disable any popup blockers or add the above domains to my popup blocker's permission list to allow popups.

I need to set the security level for your 'Trusted Sites Zone' to 'Low' and make sure that the setting for 'XSS Filtering' in this zone is disabled.

Hello guys.
i recently face the new problem in IE.
at first when i click on the hyperlink the new window opens fine.
but when i close the windows and try open them again, all new windows open in the back!!
its really wired!!
i test this in Windows xp. seven and 8. in IE 8, 9 and 11.
i really appreciate any kind of help.

Internet Explorer 11 freezes up on opening and clicking any item on the favorites bar or any of the other options like Page / Safety Tools etc. from the Command Bar . The IE 11 normally opens up to a blank page as set. The only add-ons are Java Console and McAfee tool bar. Disabling them does not help. The freeze up last for around 4 minutes after which it works for normal.

The freeze up next occurs if a separate tab opening is attempted. Following this the freeze up again occurs when any item on the menu bar

Separate window sessions can be opened. However on each of them, the same situation occurs until the first one comes thru and then the rest work.

Internet options are set to delete browsing history on exit. This occurred after one of the Windows updates in December. However I am not sure which one.

I have 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 Operating system on Dell Inspiron 2305.

Chip AMD Athlon II x4 610e 2.4GHz Processor.

IE Version 11.0.9600.17501. Update Version 11.0.15

Please advise on any suggestions.

I'm testing IE 11 for sites my company uses to conduct business. I've tested IE on both Domain joined and non-domain joined work stations. I have an issue where IE 11 doesn't display the notification bar for certificate errors, downloads, or ActiveX controls. We do have a few sites that we want to run in Enterprise mode, so that is enabled in the Local Computer Policy. There are no other settings configured in the Local Computer policy for Internet Explorer. I'm seeing the same behavior on both Windows x86 and x64. The only strange behavior I've noticed is that after upgrading to IE 11, the Internet Explorer administrative templates fail to load. I get an error reporting a problem at line 795 column 308 regarding the Advanced_EnableSSL3Fallback entry. It states that the reference couldn't be found. IE 8 and 9 both work for the sites we are using and both display the notification bar as expected. I've tried enabling Mixed content, unsigned ActiveX controls, initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe, disabling Protected mode, enabling the prompting of ActiveX controls, and disabling Prevent ignoring Certificate errors. Nothing I have found has corrected the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello,

I'm just wondering, if I select IE5 doc mode in enterprise mode site list manager, will I have doc mode IE5 running on IE8 high fidelity emulation (enterprise mode) or IE 5 doc mode running on IE11 ?

Hi everybody,

in IE10 I had the chance to use 32-bit-tabs even with EPM. In IE11 my 32-bit add-ons are all marked as "incompatible".

Do you have any suggestions?

 I am working on Java based application. When I select some rows on screen while pressing Ctrl key and holding the mouse button pressed and try to drag the selection, the Screen suddenly becomes blank.

This happens only in IE9 . IE10, firefox works fine.

Would be grateful if someone can help with a solution
