Yesterday out of the blue some old pages from my favorites list reappeared.  I deleted these in the past and now they just showed up.  When I right click on them to delete them or go to organize favorites to delete them, they delete for a few seconds, but then reappear.  I try again and again, but they just keep coming back.  The "favorites bar" in my favorites list does the same thing.  I have also gone to users/profile/favorites to try and delete them and they just come back.

I've run multiple scans with my antivirus software and spybot software, but it didn't fix it.

Anyone know how to fix this or know what the problem could be?  I am not a tech guy, just an average joe, but can get around windows decently.

I have a web project that has to work on multiple browsers. When I use the following link to test the javascript versions this is what I get:

For IE 11 I get 1.3 (my code breaks)
For IE 9 on Vista I get 1.7 (my code works)
For Chrome on Windows 8.1 (same machine as IE 11 above) I get 1.7 (my code works)
For FireFox on Windows 8.1 (same machine as IE 11 and Chrome) I get 1.5 (my code works)

So the question is why is IE 11 only running javascript 1.3?  Can I set this to a higher version?

The code that is breaking is str[0] which is undefined in 1.3 but works in all of the later versions.

I would like to change the javascript version instead of my code if at all possible.

Sir MSN HOME PAGE I cannot see the pictures after the main screen you have an article “10 Social Security Mistakes to avoid” When I click on it and go to the next page the pictures are blacks out. This is for every article on MSN I found this out by trial and error thought it might help

I have 1000 + systems in my environment which has IE11, but i could not able to deploy Proxy settings on those with browser exception as well.

When i check browser settings after GPO applied i get the field blank where as auto detect only gets checked.

Same settings gets applied properly for IE10.

Please help on priority.

I'm having a cookie problem on 2 out of 2 tested environments using Windows Server 2008 R2 (with roaming profiles) and Internet Explorer 10 (IEAK'ed) :S

For instance when I login to www.google.com with my username and password, as long as I'm using my Windows session I'm logged in towww.google.com every time I open the browser (with all iexplore.exe processes closed before). When I logoff my Windows session my (roaming) profile is beeing saved on the fileserver and the locally cached Windows profile is beeing deleted.

When I logon to Windows again (on the same computer) the roaming profile is beeing copied from the fileserver to my client (including the .txt cookies), butwww.google.com isn't logging me in automatically. The same thing happens with other cookies related stuff on websites :S

Also tried WITH and WITHOUT folder redirection for AppData/Cookies/etc, even a newly installed environment with Microsoft defaults is giving me problems.

Anybody out there having the same problem ?

Because of an old version of a company software I have to downgrade IE11 to version 10. 

I am looking for the IE10 but I can't find it . Could you please let me know where is this file?

Well, I’ve wasted another perfectly good hour looking for a way to download Internet Explorer 10. I can’t find it anywhere.  IE 7, 8 ,9, 11 no trouble. 10 though it appears has dropped off the face of the earth.  Does anyone have a link into an official download location for IE 10?  via premier or mvls would be fine as well.

I have a fairly new machine with windows 7 pro x64 installed. I have office 2013 installed as well.

I have a sbs 2008 server running sharepoint 2007.

On this machine alone i am getting the error "a problem with this webpage has caused internet explorer to close and reopen the tab" any time i try to access http://companyweb/ in Ie 11 on this pc.. i have cleared caches.. updated java.. i have even uninstalled and reinstalled IE 11... and the error keeps coming up. I have even tried compatibility view and i get the same error.

I am able to browse other sites.. just not companyweb ... i have about 15 more windows 7 machines all upto date like this one and they dont have problems access company web.. I am out of ideas.

Any suggestions ?

I am currently utilising a VB Script in Active Directory to launch Internet Explorer automatically when a user logs in. Strangely, this works perfectly for all desktop machines, but not for laptops (where two instances of IE open). The machines are grouped in two different AD OU's.

I initially thought that this might be due to differing IE versions, but I have tested and this is not the case.

I need to replace the Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 7000.  I can only find it with the keyboard.  We have ordered several keyboards with this mouse, but the mouse on one of them no longer works.  How do I ordered the model 7000 mouse only?

I am working on project which helps end user to create daily reports by tracking it's activity.

To track activity in IE browser application uses accessibility interface (MSAA). 

In brief, tracking works the following way:

1. App searches for all child windows of IE browser which have "Internet Explorer_Server" window class (tab documents windows)
2. Gets IAccessible object by window handle.
3. Gets name of the IAccessible object which represents URL of the document loaded for this tab

Everything works fine for most of users. But several users reported that IE tracking doesn't work for them.

Nothing fails, but empty string is always returned as name of the IAccessible object (document).

I checked that URL can be obtained using UIAutomation API (I used Inspect.exe tool), but for some reason the name is always empty for this element when MSAA api is used.

Note that the issue is reproduced for these users even when AntiVirus software is turned off and with all IE Add-ons disabled.

Could you please clarify if there are any security settings which can control this behavior?

Note: I tried unsuccessfully to reproduce this issue on the VM box using the same version of the Windows and IE. I also tried to use the same Anti virus system and several IE add-ons without success.

When I click on a link on a web page which is to open a pdf file in acrobat reader, it does not open and gives me a error mesage
